"I had the pleasure of having lunch with a friend last Sunday. We both really appreciate good food and we were not disappointed. My starter was sublime in taste, modern but not predestined in terms of ingredients. (Mushrooms on toast) main course: beef rump steak, equally tasty and juicy. Perfect portions of dishes. If it were possible, I would give the service 6 stars. I haven't felt so welcome in a restaurant for a long time. The interior design is quite austere, but warmed by light. Lots of space. I recommend and will definitely come back to try the evening dishes"

"We went to Washingborourgh Hall Hotel for an afternoon tea. It was a Thank you gift. We were greeted very welcoming and shown to our table. The decor of the room was smart and classical in style. The tables were all set with cloth table cloths and linen napkins The China tea cups and tea plates were lovely and all different from each other, even the saucers and cups. It was charming. The menu was very detailed . Perhaps a bit crammed in ? We chose our loose leaf tea first, then the waitress Amelia who had been very friendly went off to get our tea. The food was as pretty as a picture. We started at the bottom tier with the small appetizers. The sandwich fingers were full with with a slight twist on the usual fillings. The trout, cress and creme fraiche was delicious. The blue cheese and walnut ones were perhaps a bit too different for my elderly father, but my mum loved them. There were a further two fillings. The small cakes and Tiny tart were a treat The scones were among the best I have had. The jam and clotted cream soon disappeared but there was plenty for all of us. We took home what we couldn't eat then. Instead of a horrible plastic tub we took them home in a eco friendly brown bag."

"Attended a funeral wake here for a forces veteran so slightly different experience to a regular customer. The staff were wonderful, very helpful. Buffet food was great and plentiful. Very enjoyable visit and I'm certain if I lived in the area, I would be eating in the restaurant and using the facility."

"I went here for the first time yesterday and i will definitely be going again. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. There is a great selection of food on the menu and the food I had was lovely. All round a wonderful evening."
