"The highly anticipated Prime Rib Night - a first at Mordidas and under the auspices of Roger of Alaska Diner fame went off without a hitch and the slow roasted Prime Rib came out perfect - medium rare or a tad bit more if you asked. Tender and flavourful - accompanied by a brilliant cob of yellow corn and mashed spuds and a delightful gravy - perfect for us on a night with heathy appetites. We had several of the house Sangrias - tasty, well blended albeit a tad on the sweet side. The house made brownie awash in chocolate sauce, cream and cherries and accompanied by a coffee was a perfect end to this meal. Recommended. So nice to see Roger doing what he loves - and as he says that's what his cooking is all about."

"Cafe Vayan is one block block from our hotel ( Los Arcos Resort ) which is on the beach in Zona Romantica as it is known.They were having an all you can eat special for spaghetti bolognese and bread for only 82 Pesos which as of today's posting, July 12, 2017, is $4.62 US dollars which is a great price.Friendly and fast service with complete bar and pastries to go. We purchased a giant blueberry muffin to have the next morning with our coffee from the Oxxo convenience store which is also one block away.There are 829 restaurants in Puerto Vallarta and during July and August you can get seated pretty much in all the restaurants very quickly. "I cannot wait to go back! Planning a trip for 2 weeks in august. I can honestly see myself eating there at least half the time. I want to taste every single thing on the menu but cannot get past the pizzas (Yet!). Fresh, high quality ingredients. Taste is unbeatable. "Located on the top floor of the hotel, the entire restaurant is open-air, with nice views and comfortable seating. Service staff friendly and helpful with menu explanations.
