"My family was in the mood for pizza after traveling and sightseeing all day. We had bottled waters with us since it was very hot that day and the waiter said we could not bring drinks in and called us "campers." After the rude treatment, we decided to give the place a second chance and went ahead and ordered. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. My wine came with some unexplained residue in the carafe. Fortunately, another waitress brought me a new one. Our initial waiter never came back to check on us. When our pizzas came, we had to ask for plates and received 2 for 4 people. The pizza was not great and instead of ordering ice cream as we planned, we just paid the bill and left. I would not recommend this place. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!"

"I happened on the Pizzeria Fornelli by chance and enjoyed it so much I went back the following night. This is a very good, no nonsense Italian restaurant that serves up excellent Italian food in decent but not glamourous surroundings. The staff are very efficient and pleasant and ensure that the place runs smoothly and diners are looked after. The antepasti we had was super and fresh; pizzas and pasta are both excellent. The limoncello digestif was a welcome addition at the end of the meal. Well worth a visit but always try and book ahead."

"During my time in Trier, it was the ice cream parlours of Calchera, which I have repeatedly visited. Because the ice cream there is just fresh and tasty. The three ice tiles are practically distributed over the city centre, only short walks to reach them. The staff is always friendly. Even if a lot is going, you don't have to wait long.
