"Went for a round with a Client and thank goodness they were understanding friends as well. The course had one drink cart covering 45 holes and no Marshall. You'd think it was November but the sun was shining and only mother nature was cooperating. This would have been embarrassing if it was a first meeting with a Client. Lots of other options in the area."

"I don’t know how hard it is to take an order over the phone. This place has got my order wrong twice! I specifically asked for an egg white omelette with bacon and this is a recurring issue. And to make matters worse, I was charged extra for the egg whites and the bacon! This place is the worst and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

"Worried about catching COVID then avoid The Portly Piper. We of us) sat at a table overlooking the entrance and watched dozens of people pour into the place with no contact name taken nor was their ID checked. It was a hit and...miss effort! I mentioned all of this to owner who said he would talk to his staff. Wake-Up idiot!! This virus has been with us for almost years, get with the program or loose your liquor license. We spoke with our server who was mortified. I suspect she will look for another job. It's places like this one that are responsible for all bars/restaurants being shuttered again! To repeat, avoid this place like the plague...unless you want it!!"

"I haven't actually had pizza here in a whole year, but since this family place doesn't change anything, it's still the best pizza you'll have in the area. The Pino Special is just that, very special. Loads of pepperoni, bacon, onions and more cheese than you should really eat make this pizza "special". You'll feel stuffed but very satisfied afterwards. They also have a great white pizza that's perfect as a late night treat, or as a snack with white wine. The atmosphere is definitely "mom and pop", which is what it is, but perfect for this place. If you're looking for white linens and silver cutlery, you're obviously lost... but if you enjoy great food, you've come to the right place. I can't say enough good about it. The staff are all friendly, and will even chat with you when things slow down a bit. Give it a try, you'll thank me for it."
