"We stopped in for dinner and weren't too impressed from the start. At first we were seated near the kitchen but someone was throwing silver into a drawer and it was loud! We moved to another seat away from that noise but the acoustics in the dining room were such that a couple in the middle of the room could be heard very clearly where we were seated. It took forever for the waitress to come get our order (my partner had to go looking for her.) We ordered and the waitress didn't know about one of the menu items (escargot) and had to check on that. When we ordered our entree's my partner has very specific needs and told the waitress about them. When our appetizers arrived they were really tasty. The turkey soup was homemade and super delicious. When the entrees arrived my husband found that his sandwich had stuff other then mushrooms on it when he had asked for only mushrooms and cheese. The meal had to be redone. Both our meals were delicious. Simple and fresh fair. The place was also very clean which is important to us and there were lots of choices on the menu. Prices were reasonable but with the noise and the haphazard service I would be inclined to try another place next time I visit Amherst."

"I wanted to bring them an experience I had with the location greco in ahmerst nowa scotia today. I was treated terriblely today and harassed by the staff. I understand that covid is going to have to take certain precautionary measures, but that was far beyond precautionary measures. first I ordered before greco. I usually go in, put my order, wait in the back and then go. today I have entered and hired my order. I didn't say anything when I was waiting. However, the thing went to the hill when I was addressed by the employees and accused of having the coronavirus. I was a little shocked to hear these accusations, but regardless of that, I was asked to wait outside the facility anyway, without any kind of damp I did. I went out of the doors and waited for about 20 minutes in front. in the meantime other people were allowed to wait in the load. After about 20 minutes, the employees followed me in the door and asked me to leave this time, where would I wait? in the middle of the road? about the street? again they said it was because of corona and that the people complain, but I don't think that 's true, I didn't have with or harassed someone, the strange person who just came up and order and went. at this point I had enough and asked for a refund. to be accused between covid. as singled-out, asked to leave the load and then the property, then I had decided and there I would never be a customer of greco again. I've never been so harassed about that. was it because I've deleted my throat of a tikkles? is that why they all suddenly thought I had corona and that I had to load and leave the property immediately? absolutely nuts. I never forget this abyssive experience I had with greco 's pizza today. the personal of this place should be absolutely ashamed and contradicted by its behavior."

"Arrived at lunch time on a very hot day! Two of us had the 6$ meal with chicken wrap, fries, coffee and a chocolate sundae. The other had the $7 special with double, bacon cheese burger, fries, pop and a strawberry sundae. We decided to sit at a booth as air conditioned and were given a " tent number." There are also tables with umbrellas outside. The staff were very engaged and attentive. We waited for 20 minutes for our order, and it was brought to our table with a smile. Enjoyed the local newspaper during our wait. We asked for our sundaes later, so retrieved these when ready. Excellent service, food, price and environment."

"Duncan's has always been one of the best spots around! Many delicious options. I recently had a rare steak with bearnaise sauce, deep fried pickles and escargot and it was all amazing! My friend's two year old was with us and Darlene went out of her way to talk to her, get her own menu for her and make sure she had a great time!"
