"We were nine for dinner on Mothers' Day and it couldn't have gone better. From the wonton and sweet and sour soups, to the spring rolls, from the Peking duck (two ways) to the prawns in black bean sauce, chicken with cashews, chicken chow mien and the melt in your mouth pork ribs, every dish was spot on, tasty and very well presented. The place was a bit of a madhouse with every seat taken and a truck-load of huge take-out orders being handled without a pause in our service. The staff were friendly and very helpful and delivered our meals with a lot of smiles. My grandchildren suggested that we will have to go back and we will, no question. If you are looking for the best Chinese food on the North Shore, this is it."

"Certainly nothing fancy about this place. Tables and chairs are chrome and arborite, plain Jane decor but the food is excellent. We've used this eatery three times, twice for take out (home delivery) and once to eat in.I think it has some of the best Chinese food in the Greater Vancouver Area and we've got hundreds and hundreds of Chinese restaurants.It's a neighbourhood treasure but not the place to bring her for your first date."

"Best Fried chicken I've ever tasted!. I had heard about this new restaurant from some friends, so decided to check it out. They are newly opened, and some decor construction still going on (decor is beautiful by the way), but I was very pleasantly surprised at the wonderful quality of food and the friendly service. I just generally liked the vibe of the place. Ordered a side of truffle mac cheese first, followed by a most delicious fried chicken dish....probably the best fried chicken I have ever had! Unbelievably good! I recommend FEAST to anyone and I will definitely be returning!! Well done Folks!"

"Let's get one thing straight. This is my kind of restaurant. Having lived in the Far East for over 15 years, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo, I despaired of finding a really good Thai restaurant in the wilds of the north shore. Excellent sushi restaurants there are aplenty, delicious Chinese food is not uncommon but Thai food, real Thai food is a rarity indeed. So you will understand my enthusiasm for Thai Pudong.We discovered this little gem when we first arrived in West Van three years ago. Drawn to it by its conscious lack of decor and it's evident popularity with locals it did not take long for it to become our favourite Thai restaurant in Vancouver. The slightly shabby décor is reminiscent of eating in restaurants in Phuket in the early 80s, but the food takes me right back to eating in Bangkok over the past two decades. Simply delicious and properly priced. The service is efficient and courteous and cordial and most importantly always unobtrusive. The reliably abbreviated menu is full of our favourite Thai dishes which invariably arrive piping hot and freshly made. The salads are excellent with the freshest ingredients dressed with subtle combinations of herbs and spices. This is what Thai food should be, fresh, unfussy, wonderfully spiced and instantly approachable. We ate there last on a Friday night and the place was packed with happy and convivial diners. (At least two parties were disappointed having arrived to find no tables available). West Vancouver's dining scene is extremely competitive. Thai Pudong’s longevity and popularity are testimony to its excellence."

"I've been eating there for 5 years, almost every Friday night. Mostly take out. I should try something new I know, but my regulars are so good. They are General Tao chicken (mild spice), Lemon Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Sole with snap peas (but subtitute black bean sauce). About $20/dish, so a little expensive, but the portions are large. I know they changed hands a couple years ago, but guessing they have the same chef, as I havent seen any changes in the food. Still great."
