Despite tasty dishes like the red curry and beef peanut sauce, negatives include inconsistent quality, high prices, and the presence of a mouse running across the floor. However, some diners enjoy the food and appreciate the efficient service. Overall, improvements needed to enhance the dining experience.
Solid Thai food. Nothing extraordinary, but I've been here a few times and it has never disappointed. Service is fast, their red curry is decent. Not a place I'd go out of the way for, but a good option if you're in the neighbourhood and looking for a safe choice.
This place should be at least a 4.5/5. Very delicious food prepared with authentic ingredients by a thai chef. Highly recommend
We have eaten in and had “TAKE Away” for years and with Social Distancing we were ready for a Treat again tonight and as usual Thai Pudpong was Great!! We’ve had Vegetarian Spring Rolls (they snuck an extra one in); Red Curry Chicken, (spicy requested as I like it); phad priew-wan with pork (which was super tender) and tasty Phad Thai!! This time we had their Green Curry (requested spicy again) which was amazing and Yum Nue, a cold grilled beef salad!! Usually it’s ready per estimated time which is often the time it takes us to drive there anyway!! Have leftovers for lunches, just a quick microwave to heat up.
Enroute to the ferry after a doc appt. and a wonderful walk in ambleside. we had phoned before opening hours of 5:00 and were told of course you can order. walked along the street, very attractive, lots of fun shops. picked up our order and ate in the car at the terminal. the chicken satay was delicious, wish i could flatten my chicken like that when i make them. i also liked the herbs used. the spring rolls were perfect. and the choo chee spring salmon in a red coconut curry sauce hit the spot. I'm really happy with our find and we shall return. only take away service now with covid, pick up is done through a window. very impressed with restaurants who are being creative. happy to support.
My family decided to stop in based on the reviews, and especially with less folks dining out, wanted to support the local business. Service seated us immediately and was attentive. We ordered the spring rolls, panaeng curry and vegetable pad thai. The spring rolls came and were fresh and delicious. However, this unfortunately changed when the Pad Thai and Panang Curry came. It appeared and tasted frozen, and the food was lukewarm. When we brought this to our servers attention, they indicated it could be reheated. We asked for it to be made fresh. This brought the owner over, who indicated nobody had ever complained about his food before, that we had let it get cold at our table and said we can remake it, but please don 't complain again . Unfortunately, we started digging in the moment it arrived at our table....so not quite true. At this point, we immediately got concerned about what would happen in the kitchen, with the owner insinuating that we wanted to complain. We decided to leave, and will not return. Rating: 2 stars for the spring rolls. Verdict: won 't be back
