"As former long-term Canberra residents, we returned expecting the same high quality we had experienced in the past. The greeting was luke-warm and non-attentive, but later, staff who remembered us turned up and the quality of service improved.The food was fairly ordinary, and towards the expensive end when compared to pricing in Melbourne and Sydney. It seems they are trading on their captive audience and regular customers."

"We ate here at lunchtime and could not understand why we were the only customers. Food was fresh and tasty and arrived within 10 minutes. Service was friendly, decor was new and clean and the menu provided many options. Loved the vegetarian spring rolls. The lunch special was very good value. Will eat here again, when next in Belconnen."

"Auntie there prepares great authentic Thai food. Been going there for years. Good prices, clean kitchen, delicious food, family restaurant, friendly staff. I don't know why this place isn't the most popular in Dickson. My favorite place in Dickson."

"Another visit to this icon destination. Great service, great food well cooked with a broad range of choices. Sidestepped the ploughmans lunch this time for the hot pork pie and she had the pork massaman curry. Great beer with some excellent Wiley Trout wines. Pity it was school holidays with children close by who were not keen on that sort of dining. Great place to catch up with good friends with easy parking and on a warm day, lots of space outside to relax."

"This family restaurant has been operating in Macquarie for years and years, always with a good reputation. The food is tasty, the portions are adequate but not over large. The cook is very keen on onions in a lot of the dishes, but so am I. While it is nominally a Vietnamese restaurant, the menu is heavily influenced by Chinese cuisine. We went there looking for Pho, but it was no go. However my wife, son and I selected a squid and lemongrass dish, a sea food dish sizzling on a hot plate, and Mongolian Lamb (not sizzling on a hot plate) and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The green tea was served in an occidental stainless steel teapot, which did not leak. We enjoyed that too.Altogether a relaxed family occasion, and we would be happy to go there again, although we are only occasional restaurant goers, since we tend to prefer our own home cooking."
