"This is a small restaurant with an interesting and varied interior. Tables are situated on three different floor tiers, with varying degrees of privacy. The host is friendly and engaging. In the three months I lived in Karlsruhe I visited L'incontro several times. The menu...is expansive with various pizzas, risotto, fish (particularly mussels) and pasta with homemade pasta noodles. The wine list is short, but features good quality wines. Unlike in America where wine by the glass is usually bad, in Germany one can expect decent table wine by the glass. All the meals I had were well prepared and tasty and the tiramisu is really excellent but very large. It's enough for two people and tastes best with their freshly brewed espresso."

"I cannot really understand how some people can rate this restaurant with 5 stars. the restaurant is quite far outside the carlsruher city and not easy to find, therefore I can only put to the heart those who decide to do this restaurant, the navigation system not to forget.In the near future, the restaurant does not make a really serious impression from the outside, it acts as if you go to an older house that was converted more or less into a restaurant on the ground floor. the owner of the restaurant is not a Thai, it also does not work Thai in this restaurant. the operator had told us that she had lived in Thailand and Australia for a few years, and that she had come to the idea, so invite.
