"The service was very slow, after an hour we asked how long our food would be? rudely was told that they were very busy and had to wait. we waited another 10 minutes before we ask again, and we were told another 10 minutes. the half of our friends had arrived 30 minutes before and was finished, despite all ordering at the same time. our older guests remained to eat some leftovers, as they had to eat because of their medicaments. we decided we didn't want to wait anymore so we canceled the rest of the order. when we explained that we were disappointed with the service, we received a very sarcastic commentary."

"After looking around the net on the best eats in Mandurah, oyster bar popped up and this was the first one on my list to visit. Providing it's a Monday night, quite. Few people were outside enjoying the scenic dinner. Service was efficient and genuine considering the skeleton staff. Seems like the staff are actually happy to be there. The food came out pretty quickly and it did not fail our tastebuds. My girls said they definitely enjoyed the squid. I will drive to go to this oyster bar from Perth after the holidays as it was a really enjoyable experience"

"Murphy's pub caters for all ages and types. It is very well managed and specializes in traditional Irish / British pub food, if you're looking for Italian, Chinese or whatever, go elsewhere. It has the best Guinness, Kilkenny and service in the District. I am very fortunate to call Murphy's my local."

"Definitely a classic in Mandurah Mei Jing's is one of the best places to get take away Chinese, the owner (Paul?) I believe it was such a funny man! he reminded me of my dad actually always left leaving with a smile on my face"

"Restaurant is nice, clean, beautiful views, stuff friendly. We ordered mixed kebabs chicken and lamb. Lamb was reconstituted and did not taste at all like a lamb I could not eat it. Waitress has offered a discount but that was not the point as we were really looking forward to enjoy taste of real lamb from the rotisserie. I am kebab lover but was disappointed with this restaurant as it looked really nice so we assumed food would be of good quality too. Bread was delicious, like home made."

"I was a little hesitant to try this place after reading a couple of negative reviews, but I figured nothing beats personal experience, and after a less than positive experience with a rather arrogant proprietor at another popular local Thai restaurant, decided to take my dad (and my canine companions) here for lunch instead, and am glad I did! Where else can you have amazing views, yummy food and efficient, friendly service!<br>
I have to admit after reading the negative reviews, I did add up the bill in my head and the 2013 accusation of overcharging seems to be nonsense, because it was spot on! Hopefully that old review will get pushed off the bottom of the page and stop putting people off.<br>
The food: Best spring rolls I've had for ages! If you're hoping for visible oil and you think that too much salt('seasoning' according to the TV gurus)=flavour, go elsewhere, these were crunchy with a delicate flavour of spices complimenting the flavour of the fresh, firm...
