"I had been sent off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came out like that), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"Food, with exception of caprese flatbread which was very dry/hard, was very good, esp. the frites and the rice/vegetable salad. Wine list very good, Sonoma sauvignon blanc excellent. Atmosphere is stark, mostly white and the large room adds to a chilly effect. Service was very good. Some unusual choices for lunch. Recommend reviewing menu online before you go. Overall would recommend for quality of food, wine and service. Expensive."

"The Sunshine Cafe is a great dinner! It looked like this place had regulars, and that type of comfort for a small business feels amazing. The service was great, our waitress was very nice. The food was fantastic. The rye bread tasted so incredibly fresh, probably the best I've had from a restaurant. The eggs were some of the best I've had in a while too. Quick side note, it is cash only, but they have an ATM in the restaurant too!"
