"They have good selections of dim sum dishes. However, congee and noodle from dim sum menu isn't good, taste is bland. For traditional dim sum dishes such as shumai, sticky rice, cheong fun, chicken feet, shrimp shumai are delicious. The place is crowded when we...had lunch there due to boxing day. Price is more expensive than the one we had in Richmond."

"Always scouting out dim sum places. I like the Top Gun in Richmond, but this one is a close second. I really like the little Crystal Mall it is in as well. There is a great bustling Chinese market downstairs. We had 5 dishes. Everything was prepared well and differently than Richmond. The sticky rice was really big and I enjoyed it. Pork dumplings were excellent and the squid was a generous portion. The shrimp dumplings were very nice and the wrapping sets the record for most gelatinous ever.Waiters were very friendly."

"Been spending the past few weeks pursuing Malaysian Hainan chicken rice with out of town visitors. Came across this small, unassuming, very clean, pleasant family operated restaurant in Burnaby at Edmond's. Ambience is simple, easy on the eyes.Ample parking available on the streets around the vicinity.Clement and his wife recently opened up this joint, taking into consideration the various palates in the city, which would enjoy the fusion themed Malaysian food. The cross over of foods include Pulat Pangang (wrapped sticky rice with a blend of sweet/salty filling;) for those who are originally from that part of Asia, this brings back nostalgic memories.) The Hainan chicken rice is nicely presented with ample chicken/rice and a lightly spiced sauce on the side; with both visits there, had found the Hainan chicken is consistent texture, neither overdone nor underdone, making it most palatable, especially for those who are not used to the authentic dish.My guest raved about the Seria Kolomee ( a staple frequented by most Malaysians as their lunch or snack treats during work days,) which upon sampling, and found to our delight, mirrors the fragrant noodle back in Asia. This dish is accompanied by the authentic pickled jalapeno (mostly sour vs spicy) sauce, adding a pleasant kick to the dish. Kolomee tastes how it should be when the sauce is totally mixed over into the noodle!Popular Mee goreng ( fried noodle) is on the menu, plus the Buttermilk prawns which is apparently a very well sought after dish on the dinner menu.Coconut pudding (from real agar agar) is most pleasantly refreshing after the Hainan chicken rice.Unless one is willing to show up for a possible queue on a busy day, reservations are highly recommended as there are only 32 seatings available. Best to go early as soon as it opens at 11 am-no wait time; it can fill up fast for lunch hours.Dishes are freshly made to order; so be prepared to wait."

"I should of known that a majority of the Asian restaurants still use MSG. MSG is a seasoning that adds flavours to a dish. Nasty stuff that cause headaches, heart palpitations and greater thirst. (that's me). We ordered 3 dishes and asked for less salt on all 3. The server came back and asked if we wanted MSG added. A big 'no' to all dishes. We had the Gai Lan, half steamed chicken and fried rice with dried scallop and egg whites. The Gai Lan were nicely cut up in smaller pieces, steamed just right. The half chicken was steamed cooked and came with chopped ginger. The fried rice had very little scallops and was a bit on the greasy side. Nothing wowing about all 3 dishes. Doubt I'll be back for awhile as there are many other Asian restaurants nearby.Service was ok. We got there right at opening. (5 pm) on a week day. We had to wave servers down to get their attention."

"I thought your store will be closed by 10:00p.m as the business hour shown in the google map. Unfortunately, when I got here by 9:30p.m today, I was not getting any services because they have the last call.I’m not complaining about your food, but can you improve the service by open and close with the exactly business hours as given? I saw the girl was closed the curtain by 9:35p.m."
