"When you book your performance tickets online you can also book your dining experience at the same time. You then are contacted shortly prior to your visit to access the online menu booking. The choice is very limited and not overly exciting but sufficient to...make a reasonable choice for dinner. You can add your wine etc (but not shorts, these can be ordered at the table). It is quite efficient and worked well. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. They seat you and check your pre-order is correct. You do need to ensure that you arrive in good time to ensure that you don’t feel rushed as you will not be admitted late into the performance. I really liked having the starter, mains etc. before the performance and the dessert, coffee at the interval (we had minutes to get back up to the balcony have dessert etc. and return to our seats just about enough time but beware if you require the toilet take that into account The starters were quite pleasant (rabbit terrine/gazpacho); The mains OK (sea bass a little boring! steak ok but the bone marrow was inedible) nothing to write home about. The service was excellent and very efficient. If you haven’t already ordered drinks, coffees to have with your dessert do make sure that you do order before leaving to take your seats at the start of the performance. Dessert (cheeses and gooseberry) were lovely and the coffee was good. This was on a weekday evening. Even though I felt the food could have been better this is a wonderful setting to enjoy the atmosphere, to watch the audience and the service was very good, the staff were very pleasant and efficient. I was glad to have made this part of the overall experience of attending a performance at the Royal Opera House. Would I come back well maybe I would say that it’s an experience that you can enjoy regardless of what you have to eat."

"My made a last minute booking at Quartier prior to lockdown for dinner. We had a look on the website at the menus ahead of time but were disappointed to see a substantially reduced (and quite basic) menu being served when we arrived. I ordered...sea bass with risotto which, when it was brought over, was dismally presented, burnt on top, and unbelievably bland. I wanted to get the attention of a waiter to at least ask for some black pepper to try and improve things but despite there being plenty of staff around, I couldn't get the attention of anyone during the entire meal and no one approached us to ask how our meal was. When the plates were cleared I mentioned my issue to the waiter and he said oh ok but didn't do anything further when clearing my (basically untouched) plate. They then seemed to be in quite a hurry to get rid of us despite it only being so us still having another hour to enjoy the apparent panoramic views of London (less impressive than it sounds in this instance). My partner's steak was distinctly underwhelming too, and for a premium London price of per main meal we have had substantially better food and service at other locations. Highly disappointing."

"Visited here in need of a lunchtime burrito fix. Ordered a chicken burrito. The amount of meat was ridiculously small, a common problem in a lot of London lunchtime places lately. The Burrito itself was stuffed with loads of the cheaper ingredients, but the meat was very paltry (no pun intended! The spicy sauce was good, it had a real kick to it. One member of the staff was particularly kind and friendly, even asking how I was. But the others were very rushed, even though there was no queue when I visited. And now on to the kicker the cost. Burrito with chicken and guacamole and a bottle of water £9.85!!! Jeez, someone is making a lot of money here. I was just left disappointed, and won't be returning!"

"Pleasant surroundings and decent atmosphere. The starter was nice but main course was quite bland even though it 's described as medium spice on the menu. Don 't order the bottled Kingfisher beer (unless you like flat beer). I asked them to take it back and replace it. Guess what? The replacement bottle also showed no life.. the waiter couldn 't understand why my complaint was justified. The draught beer was better. The service provided by the waiters is mixed. I had two waiters, the girl was nice, smiled and spoke pleasantly. The guy there was a bit rude, a little abruptly spoken and never smiled!
