"What a view! Yummy food with huge portions. Typical sports bar fit out with pub food fare. Good service but it’s the view that got me. Could spend hours here enjoying the back deck."

"Prairie Pub never, ever disappoints!!! Cozy, CLEAN nicely decorated. Staff is always friendly ready when you are. We 've had everything from their several pizza options to the burgers sandwiches. The cajun chicken sandwich is my personal favorite with its heaping onions straws sauce with a kick of heat. Plus the included side of tator tots, french fries or sweet potato fries leaves me stuffed every time. They offer breakfast on the weekends are always served hearty. Several traditional out of the box but delicious options. An asparagus omelette chicken n ' biscuits gravy are our go-to breakfast entrees. DELICIOUS!!! To top it off they have a Bloody Mary bar with the best Bloody Mary mix around ALL the fixin 's! Make your own or ask a bartender to whip one up for you. Enjoy their big screen televisions, poker machines, pull tab machine, dart board or pool table for extra entertainment value. Embrace the drive for an all around good experience whether you are looking for a Pub or Eatery . Needless to say they 've never let us down. Enjoy!"

"We always look for local eateries when our adventures take us somewhere new, so we were happy to try a late lunch at Chaserz on a visit to Lake Livingston. A couple of previous reviewers seemed to have had bad experiences but ours was great! Can't speak to the upstairs bar area, it keeps evening and late hours only, but the downstairs dining room and bar was clean, cool and wasn't trying to be something it's not. The frozen drinks machines poured out brain-freeze -inducing margaritas and the cooler cases were well stocked with domestics and imports. To be honest, I wished I had stuck to one of those or a soft drink because I didn't care for the flavoring of either fruity margarita, but maybe a plain lime would have been okay. The food, however, was amazing! I would put a Chaserz burger up against some of those fancy Austin/Dallas burgers any day. The patties are sirloin brisket and the buns are buttery toasted brioche. My husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger and I ordered a mushroom Swiss. Both patties were cooked to perfection and arrived hot and juicy. My onions appeared to be red (which I prefer and both they and the mushrooms were grilled just right. Soooo good! There was not a crumb left. My husband had regular fries and I had sweet potato fries. Again, both arrived hot and were perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Also ordered Southwest eggrolls with the intent of trying one and taking the rest home for later. Good idea. (Beware wimps like me, they've got a bit of a jalapeño kick! All food came out quick. Service was attentive and good. Views of the lake while eating couldn't be beat. It was a hot day (aren't they all?! so we opted to eat inside and enjoy the great views from the comfort of the a/c but I would love to try another burger on the huge deck in fall or spring!"
