"Despite a very favorable review on Trip Advisor, my wife and I had a horrible experience. The best part of the meal were the potato chips that came out first with the water. The dining room was very tight and loud even though only half full. The service was unfriendly and rushed. I ordered a $22 burger because I was worried that we were going to regret anything more expensive, which came out with iceberg lettuce and an unripe tomato. My wife ordered a sushi roll which was not palatable."

"As always, the food was top shelf. All restaurants are trying to keep a high level of service while struggling with Covid issues associated with staffing and service was good, perhaps a slight difference than normal. Love this restaurant!"

"Wonderful restaurant located in Waldorf, Astoria Park City Utah. We had a very nice and helpful Filipina server (forgot her name) who was so friendly and entertaining, she made our experience very pleasant and enjoyable. The snow had just dropped about 30 inches and the views of Park city were a beautiful winter wonderland. We are good scallops, pork belly, cowboy ribeye, trout, lobster Mac and cheese, and bone in pork chops. We enjoyed everything, however my mom mentioned that the trout was a little on the dry side and flavorless. Everything else was really good and we were stuffed. Earlier in the day, we had some drinks at the bar and the bartenders were outstanding. Overall excellent and outstanding experience."

"We were looking for a special way to end an amazing ski day and stumbled upon Yama while we looked for a sushi reservation. We were absolutely blown away by the food, cocktails, presentation, staff, and experience. Finding world-class sushi in SLC and surrounding areas has been a challenge but we have found our spot! A sommelier was available to help us with sake selection, the A5 wagu portion and experience was worth every penny, the nachos were colorful and unique, and each sashimi was fresh and memorable. Wow. We are impressed with the personal service, warm staff, grade of cuisine, and the team that worked together to create an experience we are still talking about days later. Next we are coming for the Omakase!"

"1/23/23 had a wonderful birthday dinner with our two adult sons and his fiancé. the interior design and the service were very friendly and accommodating. our entire meal was delicious and we have a different starter and main course and everyone was wonderful! we're coming back!"
