"I frequently visit this beautiful tearoom and antique store. It is such a beautiful place. Judi the owner is one of the nicest people I know. She is always so welcoming as are her staff. The hot chocolate and cakes are incredible. It is in such a stunning location and it is my haven. I cannot recommend enough!"

"What a gem of a place in the countryside. Food is fabulous, good value for money, the staff are friendly and the location is excellent. Children made to feel very welcome, with books bought out to entertain them whilst we ate our lunch. This is going to be our new regular"

"Came here for a meeting in their upstairs room. 1) Came in wasn’t offered a drink or anything. Had to track the waiter down and he could barely understand English. 2) Didn’t bring me any starters and gave it to everyone else. Couldn’t say anything as the main talk had already started. 3) Mains came out and brought me a tiny chicken shish despite me ordering a mixed shish. The waiter said he would get me lamb but it never materialised. 4) Mains were stone cold and dry. Was so fed up that I didn’t stay for dessert. Total disaster and waste of time. DO NOT come here. Spend your money in a better restaurant."

"Blackmore Tea Room does what it says on the tin. Service was good, food was lovely (we had the High Tea) and felt we got value for money. The property is old and lovely but I felt the decor was a little jaded/faded/dusty. The menu is good, without trying to do too much but the laminated menus felt sticky and not clean. The cutlery also failed to impress. They do a super delux High Tea which we would happily have ordered but you have to pre book at least hours before arriving . . . Bit pointless having this on the menu.Sounds as if I’m being picky; I’m just being honest. To be clear, I would definitely go again. I would definitely pre book the super delux monster High Tea!"

"Traditional breakfast and muffins were superb. Good choice of menu for breakfast or lunch and competitive prices. Ambience and service was excellent in convenient location in the High Street. All food freshly cooked to order. Would thoroughly recommend."
