"It’s always a bad sign when you ask the locals the best place for a sandwich and a cup of tea and they say Asda! What a shame we didn’t take their advice. We ended up in Daniels on a miserable day in Llangefni. I...was attracted to the pretty China and old fashioned silver tea coffee pots, they reminded me of my gran so thought it would be a novelty. First thoughts were that sandwiches were over priced at £9.95 however we were told consistently that all produce was organic. Now as a farmers daughter I don’t buy into the whole organic hype but it seemed very important to the owner as he to,d us at every opportunity. I asked for a scone but was told there wasn’t any, or any Victoria sandwich cake. My husband asked for a cheese sandwich and I opted for egg mayo. My husband was served but told that there were no crisps or side salad that day so there would be a reduction, he was actually finished his sandwich by the time mine came and that’s when things went completely down hill! The egg had obviously just been boiled and was soft to the point of runny, still warm and then mixed with the mayo. I took one look and knew I wouldn’t manage. I said very nicely that I was sorry but as the egg was clearly soft boiled I wouldn’t be able to eat it. As soon as I said this, the owner was clearly offended, opened the door and said “right, drink up and leave”. I was literally shown the door! I was extremely shocked, got up to pay for my husbands sandwich and our tea and coffee but was dismissed out of the cafe with the owner saying he didn’t want paid. He couldn’t get rid of us fast enough. Now, I fully expect a character assassination following my review, as I can see that as soon as anyone posts a negative comment, they are subject to all kinds of rude remarks. Well Mr Morris, I know what I was served, and I’m giving a very truthful review, no doubt you will say we won’t be welcomed back. Trust me, nothing on earth would persuade me to go back to Llangefni or Daniels tea rooms."

"Visited today with friends for Christmas Lunch, arrived to a reserved very nicely decorated table, lots of care had been taken with this. We were given a warm and friendly greeting from the lovely and attentive staff. The food arrived quickly and was hot, tasty...and well presented. The portions were huge with everything you expect on a traditional Christmas Dinner, one of our party had the vegetarian option, this came with all the trimmings and she said it tasted great. Three courses with coffee and mince pie for £20, superb value!"

"We usually only keep here to get some chips, but I noticed that they have a new board with some vegan options! they have a choice of three and we have the vegan cheese and benevolent and meatless and kartoffel pisses that were absolutely delicious! they were also served with a side by wobelgravur and chips. the personal was very helpful in reviewing the ingredients and informed me about any possible cross-contamination. they would be highly recommended!"

"We needed somewhere that wasn't an eat in place, that delivered and wasn't a kebab shop. Wanted to try the place on previous visits, bu never got round to it. Found out they delivered, boom, job done! Great food, delivery was great, thanks. Recommended."

"Today my husband and I treated ourselves to lunch in the garden. We were able to take our dogs and water is provided for them. The menu was surprising. It had all the usual stuff but also a selection of things a bit different. Prices were very affordable for any pocket. Tea comes in a nice big pot so enough for two mugs each with an offer of extra water if you want it. All condiments are in sealed packets, as is sugar. The tables are sanitised before anyone is allowed to sit down. Hand sanitizer on every table and the staff really do wear masks above the nose all of the time. Anyone can feel safe here. The food was lovely. We both had the loaded potato skins which you can have with just cheese or chicken, ham and cheese with no price increase. The staff were so welcoming and treat locals and tourists to a pleasant experience. It’s very rare you can say this but there was absolutely nothing wrong! Service was fast too. I was told that they will be starting a men only event on Wednesdays from 6-8pm so boys if you want to get out without your wife and get fed at the same time it’s for you. Ladies get the men out of the house for a couple of hours!"

"Visited the pub recently with a family group for Sunday lunch Was impressed with food and range of food offered but particularly with the hard working landlord and staff who did their best to ensure every need was catered for and that we were made...to feel very welcome. Only disappointment was no real ale However,this was only a minor issue in what was a good afternoon."
