"You won't be disappointed eating at this Burger Joint on Olas Altas Street in PV. Best burgers around and very reasonably priced. Lots of other great dishes on their meno, and great salads too. If you don't mind sitting on the sidewalk at their front door with lots of people walking by on a busy street, this is the place to eat. Owned & operated by an American guy who gives great service, served up with a smile."

"My wife and I ordered two different entrees for dinner and both were bad. I had the catch of the day, Mahi Mahi, which was dry. My wife had a pasta dish which was sour. We brought this to the waiters attention who took the pasta plate to the owner, who shrugged his shoulders. He did not bother to come to our table to ask what was wrong, apologize and rectify the problem. Of course there was no adjustment to the bill. We come to Puerto Vallarta yearly, but to this restaurant we will never come again."

"It started to rain as we were sitting by the pool at the Westin so we decided to walk up to our room and order room service. Since we were passing the restaurant I went in and asked- do you provide room service? the girl said yes and I ordered a burger for my son and pasta for myself(cream based . I gave my room We were waiting for awhile and then got a call to come and pick up. I said to her- This was meant to be room service- I don't want to go out in the rain again. Just silence on the other end. So I walk down and retrieve the food. My son said the burger was ok but my pasta was by far one of the worst I have ever had(this includes men I would date who would make me dinner and not know how to cook! . It was meant to be like a carbonara. It was sour and tasted off. Would not recommend. I knew people who went there for the breakfast buffet but it is very Expensive. If you are willing to walk i would Suggest Victor's café in the marina- 1/3 the cost and way better quality of food."

"I love the eclectic design of this place. They have a main dining area, an air conditioned portion that would be great for a group, and an open balcony. I had high hopes that dinner would be as interesting because I do like food from southern Mexico. They make the salsa at the table and along with it they serve homemade tortillas, a creme sauce, and pickled onions. I really like pickled onions but these should have been soaked in the lime juice a little longer. Service was friendly, I have to say they were trying a little too hard, but that is better than not trying to please the customer. I have had Cochinita Pibil before and loved it, so that's what both my friend and I ordered. It came with more salsa, some guacamole, more pickled onions, accompanied by tortillas and broth. Cost was a reasonable $149 Pesos. It was not bad, but it wasn't near as flavorful as when I've had it in the past, so for me this just was not anything special. My friend who had never had this entree before, agreed that it was alright, but not memorable. I will say it is a large serving for the price and beautifully presented. Lots of other reviewers liked their Cochinita Pibil so maybe it was not prepared with as many spices as is normal. Since it was a generous serving we ended up taking leftovers home for lunch the next day."
