"It was very busy when we went here for dinner and service was slow. After very generous shared antipasti we order truffle risotto and beef carpaccio. The beef in the latter was disappointing and the risotto order was delivered as truffle linguini, which however was really delicious"

"Having eaten here several times in the past, some time ago, we revisited today in a party of and had a wonderful meal. All but one chose the formula meal with either entree plat coffee OR plat+ dessert coffee. Two bottles...of wine (the Verrieres at euros is excellent value, particularly the red), an extra coffee or two and a dessert extra as well, I had the Bistroc burger (comes with a large lsice of foie gras on top) and our bill worked out at euros a head. Everything cooked as requested and excellent quality. Efficiently served, all the meals arrived tigether. Can't fault it. Great atmosphere"

"What you see is what you get. Watch the chef as he carves another steak off a very fine looking side of beef. Then watch him cook it to your taste on an open wood fire perfection. A small and rustic restaurant where the...chef, waitress and (regular local) customers are extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing fancy, but high quality meat and a lovely atmosphere. Several wines at very reasonable prices as well as more prestigious ones that are decanted and filtered in front of your eyes. A very pleasant evening. We could become regulars!"
