"Loved our stop here, a quirky sun filled space surrounded by book shelves, reminded me of an old school library. Friendly staff, basic vegan options nicely prepared. I had home made beans on toast and delicious oat milk chai latte."

"We all had Cullen Skink so can't comment on other items on the menu. The Skink was fantastic. Can't wait to go back, the breakfast menu looks brilliant. Service was friendly and efficient."

"A beautiful, untouched caffe. it was nice to sit outside. the ingredients were of very high quality in the Scottish breakfast, fabulous black pudding. the gluten-free cake from chocolate and the red wine was delicious and the rose leaves on the top were added to the taste. the coffee is always a bone of satisfaction, but it was very good. can not wait to go back"

"Was In there on 4th July 2022. Ordered fish chips and peas. Fish fell apart into pieces. Tasted horrible. Chips coloured black and Tasted horrible. There was no way I could eat all of this food. Flies everywhere in the cafe. Disgusting. How this place got good reviews is beyond me. I know now in the future to stay away from this place."

"Friends and I stopped in after a trip to Big Bear, and the food was great. Their tuna melt was delicious, and their fries were perfectly crisp. All my friends loved their food too. Loved the dining atmosphere."

"We came here for lunch. We sat down at a shared table as it was busy. The menu noted what could be made vegan. I had the vegan breakfast as I’d wanted to try vegan black pudding and vegan haggis. The whole breakfast was nice. I liked the scrambled tofu and thought it was well spiced. I liked the toast and that it had a vegan butter replacement on it, it was a good sized serve too. My partner had the French toast which could be veganised and enjoyed it. It was topped with berries. I tried it too and enjoyed it. To take away I got a white chocolate and raspberry scroll which was nice. Updated from previous review on 2022-09-16"
