"If the guy from diners drive ins and dives could PLEASE stop ruining my favorite west Maui restaurants with his overrated PR that causes a spike in prices and the resulting shortcuts that are being taken because you're THAT busy that would be great. Thanks! I rated 4 stars because of the food kitchen they've been running since the fires. Otherwise, it would be a hard 2 at best. It's not even a diner, drive in or dive. This place is NICE like downtown Laguna Beach or Newport Beach nice and just as expensive. I leave this review as constructive criticism hoping it will result in quality control. (We've stayed in Honokowai every year for the past decade this time we are here for a month. Joeys used to be our favorite spot since we are foodies Filipino is my comfort food back home. The kitchen is AMAZING when Joey is there otherwise it's just another tourist trap to avoid."

"I wanted to love this place because the mission of zero waste local organic vegan food is 100% on point. Unfortunately, the food is only meh. My Loko moku was dry and tasteless. The Taroburger was a chewing tasteless puck. The fajita bowl was uninspired. It was slow and expensive and I was disappointed. People are super nice; I wish they had better food!"

"What an incredible surprise. From the outside, the place looks a little unimpressive ;however, the food was divine. Seriously THE best war wonton soup I’ve had EVER in my life. Fresh vegetables (ridiculously fresh like just garden picked fresh, broth was sublime and just crazy good). Dishes and sides were ample portions and everything was just so tasty my palate was overwhelmed. Service was fast and staff incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!"

"Cute cafe with smoothies, bowls, salads, sandwiches. Some prepared to go stuff. Has the Tofu scramble and it was a good sized bowl with 1/3 salad, 1/3 scramble, 1/3 brown rice. Was very tasty! They 're open past 1pm the sign says until ? I 'm so glad I walked across the parking lot even tho it was 1:05! They charge an extra $2 for to go orders."

"Great Pho. This is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that serves a great Pho. To the commenters that don 't like the atmosphere, behavior of the waitstaff, etc; THEY ARE VIETNAMESE! If you 're looking for Burger King service, go to Burger King. LOL. They do have good food and the atmosphere is friendly. Just not Americanized . Expand your horizons, go there and enjoy some authentic food."
