"Went last night 26/2. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. Not sure if true Vietnamese but generous serves. Should have sat outside to appreciate the view. Decor was tasteful, service a little haphazard. Overall though will go again."

"Visited their new shop in the Raine square foodcourt and it was just as good as the food truck and a bit cheaper too! Probably the best Tom Yum soup in the CBD and great value at the lunch special price of $10. Will definitely return to try all the other stuff!"

"Always love going to the Aviary. Love the decor, the service is always lovely (although the service staff at the Bird Cage seemed a little confused with what they had on the menu) and the drinks are always good.<br>

Decided to try out some food:<br>

• fried chicken (w/ chilli, maple and sesame): fried chicken was bomb ???? (abit too sweet for my liking but I would definitely order it again)<br>
<br>
• pork and ginger gyoza (in hot and sour soup): gyoza was nice, could do with a little more filling and the soup (which was essentially tom yum soup) could do with a bit more kick ????<br>

• BBQ pork bao: loved the soft bao dough but thought they ruined the pork ???? (it was dried out from being fried)<br>

Overall the food was a bit of a hit and miss for me. The food is pricey for the portions you get but I will still always come back for the drinks!<br>"

"I had a birthday celebration here with 14 people, Plenty of space and staff were very accommodating they even brought out a dessert with a candle and sung happy birthday and took group photos for us! The food was also very good and reasonably priced and served vegan and vegetarian options for us. The best part was BYO and it was only $3 corkage per bottle of wine or 50 cents per beer we headed out to close by bars afterwards so it worked perfectly. Thanks again for a great night!"

"Came here due to a friend's recommendation and was no disappointed at all! Firstly, I just had to comment on the interior design of the restaurant - how 'wealthy' it is yea?! It felt pretty luxurious and the plating had a fine food cuisine feel to it. <br>

So you might be thinking, it's probably pretty pricey but you're wrong bc it's actually so reasonable! The food was so good as well! We had the tom yum soup and it was divine???????? The sour and spiciness in the soup defo gave my tastebuds a punch! The green curry was so good where do I even start? However it is rather spicier than I thought as green curry's usually not as spicy. The fried rice were made really well, not too dry not too moist, just right. The sticky rice on the other hand was pretty good as well. I wished they had some mango desert as that's quite popular for Thai cuisine.<br>

Overall, this was definitely a lil gem I found so near to where I stay. Don't see any reason not coming back again and you...
