"Went to Orexi at the Hellenic Club in Woden for the first time yesterday for lunch. They have only just started to open for lunch. The food and service was fantastic from the get go. We had mains and dessert. The food is absolutely authentic Greek food. Had chicken slouvaki for main and loukamadis ( excuse spelling) for dessert. A big Greek salad was put in the middle of the table and it was Devine. Have never tasted ( or seen) such beautiful tomatoes in my life. The plates and bowls very Greek and you felt you were at mamas table. The servers were really friendly and happy to explain food to you. Serves were big. Friends had moussaka and the stuffed capsicums and rice and both were beautiful. Bit $$ but the food is worth it. Will be going back."

"..the Lamb Fatteh $25 – marinated lamb casserole, with crispy lebanese bread. spiced rice, garlic, mint, yogurt and tahini suace topped with pine nuts. …or the similar Chicken Fatteh $25 (but the lamb is probably the best if you’re only choosing one). I also really like the dry texture of the falafel $10 for 4 pieces served with tahini sauce, pickles and tomatoes."
