"We visited this taco stand with Vallarta Food Tours and came back the next week for the smoked marlin taco, their speciality. It comes in a large flour tortilla with a delicious chipotle sauce and a choice of help yourself salsas for less than $3. Apparently the burritos are also amazing, as is the spicy seafood soup. Yum!"

"We were looking for a breakfast place near Sunset Plaza, where we stayed. Our favorite is Fredy's Tucan in the Romantic Zone but we didn't feel like a round trip solely for breakfast. Mariscos Don Diego offers authentic Mexican food. The menu is limited but features pancakes as well as egg dishes. The restaurant is adjacent to the incredibly quaint hotel, Suites del Sol. If you like IHOP or Denny's, don't come here. But if you like a liberal dish of local culture with your breakfast, you could do a lot worse. My chilachiles compared with the best of PV's better known breakfast restaurants and my wife throughly enjoyed her omelette con cueso y jamon.Take a stroll through the hotel lobby. It is furnished with a variety of antiques and will give you real taste of old Mexico."

"My spouse is Mexican and remembers his Mom's home made sopas. We looked all over P/V and a native recommended El Campanario. WOW! Excellent sopas and tacos as well and a kick in the butt pozole. Very inexpensive as well."

"The only regret we have about having dinner at Adobes is that have not gone before now! The service was beyond genuinely friendly and attentive and our meals were outstanding. I had the beef medallions special for that evening. It was the best beef entree I have had so far in Puerto Vallarta and we have been coming here for several years. Great food at great prices. We will absolutely go again and highly recommend this restaurant to others."

"My husband and I were lucky to be staying right up the hill from this amazing find. We ate there each night for 4 nights. You can't beat their al pastor tacos - the seasoning was just right, the fresh pineapple and corn tortillas delicious, and the minced onion and cilantro added a touch of brightness - no salsa needed. 4 tacos were about US$3.50 total. They seem to be open for dinner from 7pm onwards only.This tacqueria appears to be featured as part of a local food tour that highlights some of the best foods in the city. Go find out why it made their list."

Lo recomiendo ampliamente, sobre todo si te queda cerca Galerías Vallarta, que es donde se encuentra. Además, el precio está excelente."
