"My husband and I recently had take-out from the Mr. Sushi at the Lynn Valley location. We had dinner at the Mr. Sushi on Lonsdale twice over the summer and had a great experience both times. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case with our take-out order....We ordered tuna nigiri and we both had a couple of bites of tuna that had a different taste and texture than the tuna we are accustomed to having. As a result, we didn’t finish the tuna nigiri and threw it out instead. (We also ordered a couple of other dishes. These were fine – not great but okay Given our experience with the nigiri, we likely won't return to this restaurant"

"Week night at 7:00. A couple is the restaurant. We doubled the crowd. One of us had tempura donburi and the other cattle donburi. Both explained dinners as tasteless and very common, mine came on with a casual raw egg. Two Donburi and two sapporo were $45. It won't be back. In Fairness, they do a good terrace business in Lonsdale Quay. Too bad it shows how to be in Victoria and TA makes it difficult to correct the location."

"Not sure if this is the restuarant at the end of the cul-de-sac overlooking the Cove, if it is, it is lovely, the food very tasty, a tad on the expensive side, and the service is wonderful! Great place to go after going to the Deep Cove Playhouse!"

"We live right next door to this place. They have a simple menu, they aren't trying to reinvent the wheel here. The burgers including the cod and salmon ones are scrumptious. They make everything fresh. The ahi tuna dish is a big serving, I don't really like the sauce so I just get them to grill it with salt and pepper because it's great quality tuna and doesn't need to be all dressed up. There seems to be something for everyone on the menu. Prices are reasonable in comparison to other area eateries. We enjoy spending time with Seth at the bar, sometimes we just pop over for a glass of vino and a draft, shoot the breeze a little. We enjoy having this addition to the neighbourhood and we feel really at home when we pop in to grab a bite or just a couple of drinks. Easy going neighbourhood eatery, exactly what we needed right next door."

"It's much better this time- the ambience, the location of our table and the 3 course meal. The ribs are so tender they fall out of the bones and the bouillabaisse was perfect with al the seafood in it. We also had the honour to have the manager "Roy". Overall, It was a super dinner experience. We also used a Groupon high was great!"
