"Dont know why the other reviewer was confused, but it is pretty obvious that this is a breakfast and lunch diner and not open for dinner. We went here, as there is nothing else close to the motel we were staying at. They have all...the usual fare for breakfast, eggs, omlettes, french toast to name a few. The food was very good and well presented and the waitress was lovely. We asked for directions during our breakfast and when she could not understand us, she got the owner who spoke perfect English who gave us directions and chatted to us for some time. As to being expensive, the two of us had our meal and coffee and it came to under As an example the bacon and two eggs was only with all the free coffee you wanted. (There was no charge for coffee at all) We went back about or times for breakfast, and on each occasion were met with smiles and good food. Could not fault a very quaint and friendly breakfast restaurant"

"Walked down to this restaurant from our hotel on our first day in Quebec. Got seated promptly, and were asked almost immediately what we would like to drink. Drinks came out not even two minutes later. Sipped our drinks, sipped some more and some more. During this whole time we saw waitresses walk past by, refilling coffee cups of other restaurant patrons but passing by our table as if it was empty. Almost 20 minutes later, we finally decided to call one of the waitresses and told her we were ready to order. I pointed at the item I wanted on the menu, forgetting there were choices I had to choose. She simply said to me You have to say what you want , which is fine but very direct and sounded really cold. At first I thought her English was not that good, but later on as I settled the bill I realized it was just fine. She could have been a bit more friendly, like perhaps saying something like would you like that with two eggs or three . That waitress remained cold and unfriendly when taking our orders maybe we caught her at the wrong time? Her demeanor was better, and she became more friendly as time progressed. The crepes were excellent. We had crepes in one other restaurant two days later, but Au Petit Coin Breton 's were easily the winner. We both cleaned our plates. That same waitress seemed genuinely happy to see that we finished our food. The toasts that came with one of our breakfast were also one of the best we had had. They were thick, almost the thickness of texas garlic bread here in the US. Will definately go back for their crepes!"

"I had one of the best and most expensive meals of my life at La Fenouilliere. The decor is a bit dated and the prices shocked me for a restaurant in a Best Western. But it turned out to be one of highlights of my stay in Quebec. I had the full meal — entree, soup, main and dessert. Each serving was like a work of art. The service was incredible. There was a complimentary amuse bouche — tuna tartar — that was amazing. I really highly recommend. Just be prepared to splurge."

"We have been looking for a place to dine where gluten-free food is served and this restaurant was a great find for us. We do NOT have celiac disease but recently preferred to eat gluten-free for healthy reasons. There was a wide range of excellent choices in the menu (English menu provided) including vegetarian and gluten free. We ordered Vegetarian Panini Crepe (see photo) and two eggs over medium with French Toast and fruits. The food was prepared well, just fresh and delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was bright, cheery and appropriate. The service was superb and professional. Overall, we believe Tutti Frutti is "A Great Place for Breakfast/Lunch for Everyone.""
