"I am not a very picky person (as you can see from previous reviews), however, this is one of my least favorite meals. I ordered the coconut aguachiles, mushroom tinga, and mushroom quesadilla. The aguachiles had virtually no flavor, and really needed salt and lime. Honestly, it didn’t taste anything like I remembered. The mushroom quesadilla came on a sauce that I just personally did not enjoy. The mushroom tinga was the best dish of the night, but again it wasn’t mind blowing. There are so many better vegan options in Hillcrest and San Diego, I just would not recommend choosing this place unless someone non veg really wanted to come. The food unfortunately doesn’t taste nearly as good as it looks. The service is also spotty. The person offering water and cleaning the tables was very kind, the waiter was not rude but not friendly either. Side note: my family ordered the non veg menu and also did not enjoy their food. "Friend of mine suggested this place for the steak and eggs and their massive French toast. Staff are punctual, courteous, and respectful. Place is clean, and a lot of seating. I'm a big fan of Mediterranean cuisine and this place does a very good gyro. If you come here for breakfast, you have to get at least a single of the French toast. Highly recommended."

"We enjoyed a delicious pre-theater dinner at Pinzimini. We were concerned that a hotel restaurant would not be the best food experience, but we were delightfully surprised. The fish entrees both salmon and seabass were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. As were the salads and desserts."

"I came in near their closing time and their host Kaylee went the extra mile to make sure the kitchen could still spin up a couple simple sushi rolls for me. Then I sat at the bar and Vince got a cold beer very quickly. I had a rough day and this staff really took care of me. I always recommend this place to my friends and it's great people like Kaylee and Vince that really make a difference. I will definitely return."

"The Christmas brunch used to be 10x better. The food options were extremely limited, they got rid of bottomless mimosas, and the place was not nearly as busy as it used to be. Also, so much for a smart casual dress code. There were multiple groups of people in their pajamas!! This brunch was worth $25 per person not $95! We won 't come back from Christmas brunch again."
