"My fiancée and I decided to go here after the feldberg that is challenging for us. as vegetarian we are a little nervous, because in Germany there is no great choice. we were very satisfied to see the choices from vegan. we ordered various main courses and both were spectacular! home made falafel and a pita with spinach. the environment was a romantic place, with a view of the mountains. friendly and helpful waitress and very respectful of the measures!"

"Ausser uns waren nur noch zwei andere Tische besetzt, was den Abend im Gasthof sehr gemächlich und ruhig gestaltete, ganz unser Geschmack. Die Bedienung war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich hatte eine halbe Portion Fleischküchle mit Kartoffelknödel, mein Freund hat sich für das Tagesmenü, Schweinegeschnetzeltes mit Bärlauchsauce und Spätzle. Beides sehr lecker! Auch der Apfelstrudel war nicht übermässig süss und der Teig schön dünn, kein Blätterteigklumpen wie man es aus anderen Restaurants kennt. Einzig das gereichte Brot schmeckte nicht sonderlich gut, als wäre es vor zwei Tagen gebacken worden. Wir können dieses Gasthaus nur weiterempfehlen."

"The forest hotel is the typical 4-star hotel black forest with cosy rustic flair. the kitchen differs from the many other hotels by a very good vegan offer: every evening there is also a purely vegan 5-course menu for day guests (partially from the buffet) where you can see that the competent chef also feeds vegan and has a clear idea where he wants to go culinary. that differs from the alibige-oriented of many other hotel kitchens. photos of diw. courses. in the morning the breakfast buffet has an extra labelled vegan corner with div., vegetables, müsli and there are also soy and milk (we have not perfect just a pan offer like zb rührei tofu) . a la carte also there are 2-3 vegan dishes or in vegan, also was the vegan cake from the afternoon."

"We were recently on vacation at Todtnau. We have already been refreshed by this great Italian. And he's really great! In the end we were 4 times there from 7 days on holiday! Opposite the restaurant, a tree-lined avenue leads to the Todtnauer church, which looks down on a hill towards the busy highway. In front of the restaurant there are beautiful places on a fountain overlooking the Baumgasse and the church. Inside, the Hotel Restaurant/Pizzeria is beautifully decorated, with a lot of style and taste. Rooms are equipped with dark solid wood. The walls are walled and provided with subtle lights and black white pictures. On the right side of the restaurant are the particularly sought-after seats overlooking a walled oven where you can observe its pizza during its creation. Behind the counter is a mega espresso machine made of felt gold, which makes so delicious espresso or espresso Macchiato as we previously only drank in Italy. The controls are nice and a little set up, even if the shop is full. Where we come to my recommendation: to book in advance, otherwise you will not get a seat. Free parking is available on the side street, where you can also get a place at night when the restaurant is full. The food is also great. And that is not excessively formulated. The menu is big and for every taste is what. We have eaten during our visits: Gnocchi with Parma ham in Gorgonzola sauce, Tri Pasti, Carving Milanese, Crab Pizza, Pizza with rocket, Parma ham and Parmesan, baked Torteloni with minced meat and mushrooms, fitness salad and Tagliatelle with a spinach cream sauce. Everything very tasty and dressed with love. We sat every time, especially because we couldn't give up a side dish salad, which was simply great again with a delicious Frenchdressing, leaf salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, rocola and carrots: . In the afternoon we also enjoyed a tiramisu, latte Macchiato and an ice chocolate. So it's worth a visit. The price is still affordable, we are at 2nd with appetizer and espresso afterwards; so at 35 €, this is for quality, in my opinion. For us was the only thing that Bella Italia is so far from home; , we would have such an Italian with us, we would probably be a guest at least once a week. Great recommendation, especially for holidaymakers in the Todtnau Air Bath in the Black Forest."
