"Accueil correct. Chambre un peu vieillotte. Manque plateau de courtoisie dans la chambre. Seul un ridicule échantillon de gel douche dans une salle de bains étrangement petite. Une seule table de nuit. Des produits de nettoyage oubliés dans la chambre. Manque de sérieux et de rigueur. Que dire du restaurant..... Personnel pas au top. De plus le cuisinier ne sait même pas cuire des œufs coque. Une fois œuf dur, une autre fois œuf cru. Salade de tomates insipide. J'ai eu mange des rognons meilleurs dans des restaurants plus simples. Petit déjeuner un peu bizarre car 3 croissants et trois petits pains pour quatre personnes...... Facturation de eur 8.00 pour un plat de charcuterie réclame en plus. La charcuterie toutefois est tres bonne. Trop cher pour les prestations fournies."

"My Aunt and Uncle took us here when we visited them in Bergerac,France in June.It is a bit of the beaten track, but well worth a visit.(My uncle was quite insistent I didn't put my review on here as he wants to keep it a well kept secret)! Not knowing what to expect we were very pleasantly surprised. We were told it was very French, but worth a visit. I think we were the first visitors of the season as we were the only diners there. The menu is in French, so you will need an understanding and be able to speak French to order. A L'auberge in France is where the restaurant has to sell 90 or 95% of the food it produces to be able to be classed a L'auberge. Delphine and David were lovely hosts, they have many different birds, and this is what the menu consists of. On arrival we were served sangria which was more like a sweet sherry, the we had 2 menu choices, one was 20euros, the other 22 euros, you are served an aperitif (sangria) then soup, then salad, then usually a bird meal, cheese, dessert, coffee and 1/2 a carafe of wine per person, all for the unbelievable price of 20 or 22 euros per person. The soup was a vegetable one, there were 4 different salads on each menu to choose from, 4 or 5 different mains on each. My mum and I are not keen on raw meat so were advised to go for the duck confit, I am so glad as it was absolutely beautiful, it just fell off the bone,it was served with delicious potatoes and beans, we were served a plate with 2 different French cheeses, and a lovely kind of tart that had apricots on top, and a coffee, all made by Delphine and David. You can also buy home made produce made by Delphine. It is really worth a visit if you are in the Lougratte area of Bergerac, and you will need to book, I cannot recommend this little gem highly enough."

"Nous étions 2 pour le dîner, nos assiettes ne sont pas arrivées en même temps... La salade de la mer ne contenait pas ce qui était noté dans le menu, sans que le serveur nous prévienne... Les produits étaient de qualité inégale, bonnes crevettes mais saumon fumé bas de gamme, asperges dures. Cela nourrit quand même ! Prix correct."

"We stopped here for a coffee one morning. The lady there was very friendly to us, speaking good English and appreciating our attempts at french!!!As it was too early for them to serve food, she suggested that we pop next door for a pastry and were welcome to come back and enjoy it with our coffee.Would return again on our next visit"
