"I have found a new (to me) restaurant that I may have to go to several times a week. My first time this evening getting a to go dinner from 'THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD GRILLE ' on Park Place in FW. All I can say is my chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas, cream gravy and thick toasted bread (not white, more like rye but not) and warm apple pie was EXCELLENT. I even called the lady and told her. She said I made her day. Well, she made mine with good food, friendly conversation and a wonderfully full tummy. Home cooking and atmosphere that raises the bar for other places in town. And it 's close to work so I can easily run by and get to take home! I have to try the whole menu now. Y 'all should too."

"Love this place. Best jalapeño rolls you can find anywhere. They have been consistent with the food. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Location and ambiance are very well maintained and in a heart of the downtown. Be ready for some wait time during weekend."

"My ham and cheese sub was okay. Needed more meat. My wife had the turkey and cheese and she liked it. I had the white bread. I don't recommend if you have any jaw issues. The bread was very chewy and wasn't soft. My jaw needed a break after eating. Notworth the $30 for two people."

"Definitely working to get the name of the manager on duty Saturday 10/1/22. My 76 yr old mom ordered some food though the drive thru today and was told to pull forward and wait for her sandwiches. After about an hour she wondered if the chickens were being plucked by hand because she didn 't have her food. Luckily when she went in to ask what the hold up was there was an awesome manager there who screamed at the employees. And when her food was finally ready screamed at the employees to get her out of there . Everyone with a brain understands places are short staffed or that stuff happens and we all know there 's always a Karen. But that wasn 't the case here and it was out of line. So I 'll start here with this review, make some calls...well more calls because they won 't answer their phone and it may not make a difference. But for sure I 'm motivated to at least try to ruin this jerks day in some way."

"Great customer service. Mediocre food. Veg fried rice-3 stars, no taste, forgot the broccoli as advertised. Wanted chow mein but it doesn't come w/noodles, huh? Ordered Chicken low mein instead: zero stars, fake meat mixed w/real, no flavor, wrong noodle type; not authentic. Orange chicken-3.5 stars, good taste, just not orange. Pepper steak-good taste, 4 stars, tender meat. Beef broccoli- 4 stars, good taste, tender meat. Spring rolls 5 stars, great taste. Overall, restaurant is an American version of Chinese. Not a bad place if you know what's good here if you need a temp fix for your craving."
