"Having visited Canberra once a year for the last five, I have enjoyed exploring its pub scene very much. However the Duck's Nuts was my first miss rather than a hit. Very modern, which will be fine for some, it lacks character. (I'm British. It's what I look for in a pub.) The beers were excellent with a wide range of craft drops on tap. The food was a lottery. Some of us loved the food others found the duck and chips a pile of sticky stodge. Staff were friendly and welcoming but I will not return."

"I've dined here twice over the past 10 days. The food is excellent Cantonese style Chinese food. I'd particularly recommend the sizzling fillet steak in BBQ sauce - not something I'd usually order but I saw it being delivered to the next table and it looked fantastic. I was not disappointed. The sauce was like a plum sauce with hints of spice. The vegetable dishes are excellent too. It's a good 'cheap and cheerful' restaurant. Just expect a lack of service and you won't be disappointed."

"I've moved in to taste the food. first Friday after covid lockdown version. they immediately said they were in the position. to be honest, there were only two of us and the whole middle series of tables were empty. it would have been good to sit on the back. somehow we went and went to taj agra, who saved the day to dinner in relation to the denial of another business. We will certainly return here. first impressions and all."

"I had sincerely high hopes with this one especially because I was recommended to this by someone and it was on day that I was starving (so knew that anything would come across as awesome as long as it was food : . But alas it...was not. The curries were over-salty and I cannot stress this enough how overly salty they were...almost as if it was a great blunder done in the kitchen. It was so salty that after a few bites it turned inedible as my palate could not bear the over-dose of salt. Adding rich flavour or adding to the texture is not just about seasoning (actually over seasoning so I think this was a complete let down. I may give it another shot just to see if this was a one-off mistake or is this is how the food is always..But not to keen to do that as I efinitely have better options in Canberra"

"Really happy with my dinner experience here. They had really friendly prompt service and I was served tea as soon as I was seated. I had a roast duck noodle soup portion size was generous and the dish was not too salty! The oyster sauce vegetable I had for my side dish was very tasty and of a good portion as well. During my meal, there were plenty of people coming in for takeaway. Will definitely be back for a quick cheap and decent feed."
