"Club Astoria is a top address for pretty much any occasion. I've had casual business meetings there, I've been there as a couple, with the family, I've seen whole parties, etc. The food has always been top and the location is beautifully set by the...lake. The staff is very friendly and the service is first class. I'm a convinced regular there."

"Wenn ich es irgendwie einrichten kann, dann takte ich meinen Einkauf beim Künstlerbedarf Boesner so, dass ich entweder vorher oder danach was essen und trinken kann. Das heisst, ich bin "zufällig" zur Essenszeit im Nebenraum. Nomen est omen.Hier kann man bei gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in schöner Atmosphäre wirklich lecker essen. Die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend und unaufdringlich freundlich. Ich kann den Nebenraum nur empfehlen und komme immer gerne wieder."

"Cafe 1980 is definitely the prettiest Vietnamese restaurant I've ever seen. No asian kitsch, but warm and yet modern interior. The menu is small, focusing on traditional Banh Mi. Apart from that the menu offers Pho that you can combine yourself, one dish with meat, a salad, sweet potato fries (just great) and a dish of the week. I tried the sweet potato fries which are really big fries, but yet very soft in the inside with a nice hint of tempura on the outside. Then I had the dish of the week, a bowl with beef, rice noodles, some vegetables and greens, all with a nice balanced spicy seasoning. I added a Bia Saigon to the food, which was just the right companion. I was too full for a dessert and chose a Vietnamese iced coffee instead, that is served with sweet condensed milk and was just delicious. Only disadvantage: it kept me awake at night - but the taste experience was worth it. Everything was made perfect by the very nice service. Will soon come back!!"

"Scallops starter was great. Mixed Sashimi was disappointing, bulked out with crab sticks, cooked prawn and a couple of bits of sushi. The real sashimi was not the freshest. Service was OK. No credit cards, cash only."

"The currently offered autumn menu was really good! The young service is friendly and striving. At the end it became somewhat negligent, Until serving desserts passed a good hour, water and wine were already emptied, no demand would be desired, no service within sight. If you want it really fine, the view is definitely worth a visit."
