"This is my original review published in a booking site: the noodles used for padthai is different: it uses round thin noodles instead of flat thin noodles. we have eaten a few times before we have eaten a lot of padthai to differentiate the noodles for padthai. So we've been rather disappointed. to exclude this is the tom yung goong suppe we have ordered, under our expectation for the price we have paid, waaay. we can understand the small servier dish, but the suppe contained only 3 small garnels and 2 chopped mushrooms. the rest was unedible crumbled, filled with tom yung goong suppenwasser (5 out of 10 points this is their answer: thanks for their assessment. especially...read more"

"We shared a plate of lamb satays, a roti with a small beef rendang, papprick vegetables and one rose and grass jelly drink. The highlight was the roti and beef rendang, terrific flavour. Service was friendly, not that professional, but who cares with a bill of $21, not per dish, not per person, but the total bill! Go before they put the prices up or go broke."

"I can't think of a time that I was treated disgustingly when I was with this place.<br/> as a customer I was screaming, was suspended, my band had accompanied from the venue halfway through her dinner. dinge, which we agreed to have changed on the day of my event, and in no way was the manager who takes up or understands the person.<br/>Food was stable and hardly anything with some of my staff who complained to me how rude the staff was in the evening of our event. I will never go back to this venue or recommend."

"When Grain and Spice first began in this little thoroughfare - they needed to polish a lot (including their cashier’s use of english!)<br>
They’ve been around for a year or so now, and they’ve made many improvements.<br>

If you’ve been to their sister restaurant, Blue-Eye Dragon, you’ll be familiar with the taste - amongst which are their comfortably tasty dumplings.<br>
I’m a particular fan of their five-spice chicken bites (which I often refer to as ‘Taiwanese KFC’) and their spicy dumpling soups. <br>

I love vegetables in my meals and find the selection to be quite limited in that regard, although I can always buy a box of steamed greens to beef up the nutrient level a little.<br>
<br>
I find their prices a bit much considering the competition in the area, for the same price you can get the more elaborate faire of Din Tai Fung in the star, or for much cheaper - the more homely Noodle Restaurant dumplings on Pyrmont Bridge road.<br>

Luckily for Grain and Spice, the convenience is often hard to beat when you can’t be bothered."

"The Sydney Fish Market is the place to be for fresh seafood and a decent snack. The top floor is occupied by the Fisherman’s Wharf, a yumcha restaurant serving up your typical dimsum dishes.<br/ <br/ There is ample parking in front of the fish markets from $3 for the first hour. Dining in at Fisherman’s Wharf, you can get your parking ticket stud validated for free.<br/ <br/ Yum Cha is one of those dining experiences that are not easy to blog about! The sheer amount of dishes you tend to get and the fast pace of the sessions could contribute to that. <br/ <br/ Overall, the dishes were quite nice, with a good range of options throughout the session. "Dunkirk Hotel has a good range of food, fresh, scrumptious meals. It's more gourmet than pub food. The food at the various functions I have attended there have been wonderful each time - from finger foods to sit down meals at a function to just ordering at the bistro - never disappointed"
