"I had a lot of Indian food, much of it in london (with the participation and support of my British friend in both restaurants and food selection . but none compares with the food in this restaurant. order the lamm tikka masala, garlauch naan, rita and...mint soße. we asked for the cook and asked him after our meal. (I've never done that in my life. a perfect 10. I wish we were here for longer if only for this."

"Located at Eat Street in Cairns Central Shopping Centre, I had Beef Vindaloo and Mild Chicken plus a pork selection with Rice and it was fantastic, curries weren't too hot which was a little disappointing as I like a hot Vindaloo, shop was quite busy and service was fast, prices were quite reasonable with generous serves"

"We were lucky enough to eat at Mother India twice in a week. It was so good the first time we went back and ordered the same meals. Butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, garlic naan and popodam. The husband and wife team who run the business are warm and friendly. She dresses in authentic Indian dress and jewellery, it must take her ages to get ready! He is very knowledgeable about Cairns and definitely knows how to prepare an Indian meal.Enjoyed both times and will be back. Highly recommended."
