"I spent 3 lovely days visiting Chinon (12-15 August), and each day would stop here to sample some Chinon Rouge. The young lady that runs La Cabane is knowledgeable, friendly, and was willing to let me use my French. This place is a real treat...I look forward to visiting again."

"Located in a pedestrian street, we fell on this restaurant which serves quite late (ully positive). And where only the t-shirt of the boss indicates the name of the place...The team is a skit: manager who says everything he thinks, waitress who tries to refuel his rice at all costs, even with fries. and the poor waiter who tries to do his best with micro bluetooth and who is at two fingers of the burn out! at the same time it gives: an hour of waiting before being served for more than simple dishes and where the salad is a simple unseasoned leaf...The table next to which receives its aperitives separately but to whom one gives the vinaigrette that was requested by another table. short the cata!!!"

"We enjoyed a superb meal here last night It had been recommended to us by our hotel and after checking out others in the town we opted for their evening meal There was a good range of options and the price was reasonable I had the fillet of pork and my wife had the coq au vin. The service was prompt without rushing us and our waitress was a delight"

"The terrace is very pleasant. We came to eat: the meal is correct: I had taken a peat that was not very tasteful.And the fish was very dry I think it was coming out of the freezer! the wine we had been drinking was excellent and came from the estate couly Dutheil.Also, the dishes were not at the height of the frame."
