"Welcoming service by the waitress despite the language barrier. We enjoyed our food which included two Wiener schnitzels with potato salad and Jamie’s cordon bleu with fries, and a mixed salad to share. To top off the delightful meal, the chef (maybe Jamie himself? came to say hello and check how we were finding the food."

"Saturday evening in Chur can be mighty depressing as all shops/cafes close early! So we were happy to find this lively little place tucked away on the 1st floor of a commercial building. Run by two sprightly young women, the food service were good!...They only had a German menu but one of the ladies helped with translation we had great Penang curry the red Thai curry was brimming with plump prawns! Accompanied by rice some spring rolls we polished off everything came out satiated happy."

"It was my first visit to Gansplatz and I enjoyed a quick and good unpretentious dinner. The restaurant is located in the Old Town a 15 minute walk from the railway station. The dining room is typically Swiss and picturesque. There were many regular guests that...evening and the tenant welcomed each of them individually. As newcomer, I felt slightly neglected at first; however service improved quickly with the tenant also stopping by my table and staff being friendly and efficient throughout the entire meal. As starter the pumpkin soup was well flavoured and revigorating. As main course the house specialty is Cordon Bleu in seemingly endless varieties! I opted for the Älpler Cordon Bleu with local Grison cheese: quite tasty and not greasy at all. If you still have room for a dessert, I definitely recommend the Apfelküchlein fried apple rings served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Really to die for! Along with Riesling wine and mineral water, the bill was at Swiss city standards CHF82.00."
