"This is the only place I know that sells coconut water. So convenient if this is your choice of drink, you're travelling and you're thirsty. Not sure why it is called pumpkin cafe though I couldn't see any of the popular oversized squash based vegetable on sale so maybe stick to supermarkets if that is what you were thinking they sold. Others on this site complain about the staff personally I found the lady serving delightful and I prefer her to being served by some AI Avatar who is attractive but unable to feel true emotion....and has blue skin. To offer a balanced view it is cheaper if you invest in a flask or buy your snacks before your journey in a supermarket but if you can't be bothered to be organised then expext to pay over the odds for flavoured hot water and don't Complain on here about it..... honestly this is not the right platform to inspire genuine change."

"Had a lovely lunch here today! Shared a tasty Camembert with my son and enjoyed the fish cakes from the specials board. Wish we’d had room for dessert, but we were well fed! The service was outstanding and the wine perfect. Well done Adi and team, loved it!"

"We ordered a jacket potato with Tuna mayo and a cheese and tuna panini with two lattes . The tuna was the fishiest tuna I have ever had and I ended up throwing it away. The “salad” was very wilted. My daughters panini was the same. The coffees were already sugared for us- except the lady must of put all of the sugar into one coffee. I get that the prices are quite cheap but I’d rather pay more for decent tasting ingredients. I can’t imagine what their cooked breakfast is like "

"I live in the local area and haven't visited the Royal Oak for many years due to constant changes in landlords (I didn't actually see any of them! and inexperienced, unfriendly staff. I decided to book in for a meal last night as I heard good reports. What a difference! The food was great Stefano was so attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. I've already booked a table for 12 for the Festive food in December "

"Arrival at 7.15 o'clock for our reserved outside table, friendly reception from all employees. I quickly said they were out of sunday to decide before we sit, whether we like to eat. we chose a speckburger that was very well cooked and came with a very tasty senfsauce on the side. What a nice location directly on the sea. the facilities were a pleasant surprise with a clean, fresh, tiled, new looking bath. we look forward to going back."
