"Great place and even better people! We arrived late in the evening after a delayed flight and were turned away by another place. These guys were more than happy to serve us and their special steak sandwich is a steal for what you pay. I was expecting some thinly sliced beef and a couple of slices of bread but this thing is amazing! Such a lovely, friendly guy served us too, really made us feel welcome, even at the late time"

"Service was incredibly slow. We ordered steak sandwiches and were left waiting for over an hour. Drinks were no better and took about half an hour. Considering there were very few customers this is illogical. Food was average and twice the price of what we’ve paid for better elsewhere."

"It is a small winding foot path approx. 20 mins walk downhill to this restaurant and beach, but it is absolutely worth it. The beach is unsupervised and the water can become quite rough depending upon the tide (waves crashing and bouncing between two cliff faces). But oh what a feeling! Such a little sandy beach at the foot of a great lunch stop restaurant. They had a varied menu, but we settled on a pre lunch of sorts (it was a stop of many during this touring day). We had appetizers and drinks: Lapas were delishes here (Maderian seafood on an half shell grilled with garlic butter and served with lemon Mmm). Also enjoyed both white and red sangria and local beers. Also, giant blue slushie drinks were available for the kids."
