"I went for breakfast with my 4 year old but missed the deadline of 11. So ordered from the brunch menu. My son wanted sausages and beans but as breakfast was over, I was informed that they can't offer beans. Surely a small pot of beans can be heated up in a microwave......They gave 1 sausage and some potato wedges. 4 year old refused to eat it as there were no beans. I was charged £7 for this meal. I feel this to be a very poor service, not flexible at all. Pot of tea was like dishwater. It's a local place and should be more accommodating and not so rigid. Prices are very expensive and although fresh ingredients are used, food is not great. Overall experience has not been good. Very disappointing on more than one occasion."

"Such a welcoming team. Had a really lovely meal here and couldn’t have had better food or service. We were welcomed and shown to a table straight away. Service was excellent and food prompt plus they checked in to see if it was all ok. Will be back"

"Absolutely terrible!! 4 “rustic” baguettes. Absolutely nothing rustic about them. Uncooked part baked baguettes that are certainly nothing like the advertising pictures!! Trish assures me that they were cooked for 13 minutes, however, I’d suggest that they were only cooked for 13 seconds enough to defrost them!! Head office in Bristol didn’t want to know, just wanted to continue the cycle of passing the buck. I’d recommend avoiding this place like the plague!!"

"Mom was eating today. have been meaning to go since the new people have taken over, but never come to it, but wow! eating is fantastic, good menu, not too expensive and their Asian cuisine is not too expensive. we went for one of the Asian specialties, excellent, that said a few other tables had the different breakfasts and they also made my mouthwater. regarding the service, it is one of the few places where the customer is treated as a customer and nothing was too much annoyed. this will now be a regular one for us and it is worth visiting."

"A really lovely tea room run by a very friendly family. Service with a smile is definitely in evidence here! The scones are home made, as is the strawberry jam. Served with full-fat whipped cream (definitely NOT from a can) and a choice of teas and coffees. Very relaxing place to spend time in after a long walk or cycle ride. Highly recommended."

"I was here a few times. but it went downhill. prices have risen. in any case for what they get. a steak only comes with a few chips. not even salate, mushroom, tomato etc. if they want, then they will be much more. unfortunately will not rush back again. the service is also downhill. had to ask many times for drinks."
