We have been living in the area for over 5 years and frequent the pub often for drinks. However, we rarely eat there anymore as the food is just average. We recently tried the Sunday lunch and were disappointed. The gravy was flavorless, the beef was tough, and all the vegetables were undercooked. Fantastic eating and really inventive specialties. we meet regularly with the family around the Oxfordshire region, but this is by far our favorite and we travel extra time to get back their exciting menu. very pleasant experience.
Beautiful evening in a fabulous country pub. super eating and great service. will go again.
Everything I ordered is not available. that have been produced in error or not at all.
Felt like we offended the staff , not the best experience I’ve had there.
