"My husband and daughter love steak very much, hence our dinner in Banff town must try beef. The weather today is fabulous and my husband wants to have a table outside. He ordered a 8oz Angus beef and a 6oz for my daughter. I am not a big fan of steak but still want to try Angus so I ordered a beef burger. They had the steak in this restaurant is better than those they had yesterday at Chop Steakhouse in Calgary."

"We stayed here for one night. They are sticky about check-in being 4:00 pm. If you arrive too soon, there is not much to do. Thankfully we had tickets for the adventure exploration tour or we would have had to sit around for two hours. The room was nice and very large. We felt like we had the presidential room because we had a sitting area and two queen size beds. The bed we used was comfortable. The water pressure was a little off but we were not in a metropolitan area. The restaurant was ridiculously expensive. You are a captive audience with no other place to go, do they gotcha. The dinner was $49 Canadian a piece and that didn't include drinks. It was a buffet which we don't prefer because it is a lot more food than we normally eat. The breakfast cost was a little more reasonable. $13 Canadian for french toast. Eggs were similar in price. The food was good but not great. On the plus side you do have a view of the glacier as you dine."

"I know, I know... I came to this smoked meat sandwich cellar where they're clearly popular for sandwiches. But I didn't really feel like it. To be honest, I'm not much of a mustard person, nor a smoked meat person just because it gets stuck in my teeth. So I went for the poutine. After trying McDonald's, Wendy's, A&W, Barpa Bills (in Banff), and a few other places for poutine, I gave up and this place was my last resort. As a local, I kinda wanna be able to eat a decent plate of poutine. And this place has some Quebecois in charge so I thought, why not? I got their original poutine and although the portion came out smaller than I thought, it was pretty great! The cheese curds were actually squeaky (a sign that they're "real" cheese curds) and it tasted great in general. Would definitely recommend.My only issue here was the price, but then again, what do you expect? It's Banff. You can't avoid the expensive prices here."

"The nice staff and great location were only the tip of the iceberg of this incredible place to eat after a long day of hiking. I can not recommend more the chips and salsa, which doesn’t include the bonus of delicious guacamole, but with a simple request they serve it as well. The beef tacos were on another level from any Mexican food I have ever had, because of the delicious green sauce on top of the delicious meat, all wrapped in an incredibly soft tortilla. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a delicious dinner in Banff!"
