"Went in for our anniversary and started with a drink at the bar, and Shannon I believe was our bartender was so funny and told us she sang and would be playing there but not that night. Then moved to the dinning room to have Jen as our server who was fantastic!!!her knowledge of the wine was fabulous and I took her suggestion on the steak! The grill guy knows what he is doing!!Thanks for a great experience"

"Came to this place after we visited friends in St. Catharines. Staff was friendly when we were greeted. That's about it. I went up to take menus after a while. Waited for 10 more mins for coffee with 3 waitress on the floor. Another 10 mins for orders taking. We were not in a rush, but don't like to wait for nothing. We ordered 3eggs breakfast. It's been a long wait for not too busy morning. Our table is the first table across from cashier. Our server never came to ask if we need more coffee, another server passed by our table with coffee pot and didn't even stop for our coffee refill. Finally food came, she still forgot about coffee refill when our coffee totally empty for almost 30 mins. It's hard to make breakfast wrong as long as food is served hot. Our toast were cold and soggy, fried potato was luke warm...sausage totally burned. We ate anyway, don't want to wait for another 20-30 mins for them to make another HOT breakfast. No server came to check on us. From the table I seated, couldn't avoid seeing them cleaning the dirty plate to garbage. Saw a few times cook and waitress used their hands touching the food. Maybe it happened on every kitchen, at least we won't see that so obviously. We went to outlet collection after that, and has to go to washroom more than three times. This is the very first time we felt so sick after breakfast ..."

"I'll visit this facility 2/3 times a month if I'm on Layover in St Catherines. Many locals, and to them, their Merritton!, not St Catherines! It's a sit down diner, stand Stooles, decor is Hollywood, tastefully sticky, you have Wi-Fi, and a Tv... the film plays, nonstop. I'm trying to sit where there's no TV or sound. Space is always clean. I've never seen it busy, always have a choice where to sit. Small restaurant, small parking, not largest location on the street.... I always park over the street in Plaza. Great menu, reasonable prices and always a generous part on the plate. Waitresses are competent and friendly, always check in. Only what I don't want to order is drunk fish always dark, burned. The staff is young, efficient, but always a kind of drama among them. I mature the meaningless chatter, unimportant for me, the customer, but apparently life and death for them. Small building, conversations travel..... For breakfast, lunch and early dinner, still be disappointed. If I'm ever in Merritton with my kids, I'm sure I'll bring them here."
