"100 points for location! Set right beside the river, patio overlooks the river. Very spacious inside. The tables set near the window have an amazing view of the river. Food is fine. Service is good."

"Finally, a good pizza that had some weight to it! Last Thursday we ordered a medium, extra thin crust meat lovers with extra sauce and topped with green pepper, mushroom, pineapple with the sauce and topping to the edge. And they listened! We got exactly...what we ordered and the pizza was the best we've had in a long time. Delicious! so, it had enough cheese, usually have to add extra. Thank you! It was pricey, but at least we got what we ordered. Please keep that cook! And the sweet girl who took our order they got it right. And PLEASE keep it consistent. Will order from JR's Pizza again :"

"We have enjoyed very many nice meals here with very friendly service there is a good variety of buffet dishes to choose from in Oriental and Canadian favorites the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting open from 11 am to 7/8 pm and...you can order take out and get a discount if you pick it up yourself a great deal I think . Give them a try the next time you want a quick meal ."

"We always order the Kitchen Sink. We have been ordering these Pizzas since they opened in 1989. They are the BEST. I make my own when I’m not around but their pizzas are always better.Parking: Parking can become congested if there is an event going on at the Legion."

"My man loves the wings here and they have a special for them on Thursday. I get the chicken pliers and they're delicious. the fries are excellent. I save all my fried foods for when we go! we get a great Greek...Salad to share and it is excellent. I was in many Greek restaurants in the states and this is cheap comparison. the selection of sauce for the wings/tenders are plentiful and really delicious. I absolutely love to write a stella artois with my eating there. couple really nice. our waitress nicky is really nice. the owners updated the restaurant recently and it has a casual grill type atmosphere. the only negatiw to say is that they are only open until 8 o'clock, which seems too early to close. family and friends enjoy all when they join us in the mustang grill."

"Bought meal to go egg roll was very dark like it was reheated in microwave the chop suey was ok the sweet and sour was chilled and the shirmp were reheated in microwave as they were to rubbery to chew and each shrimp was 1/2 in coating the shrimp were not clean they still had p gut still inside"

"Pier 17Had the opportunity to visit this restaurant on a first date. The date was amazing, or even of a kid maybe; looking forward to spending more time with this man, but the meal was magnificent!!My date strongly recommended this restaurant, so I threw caution to the wind and dove in. I was not disappointed. Ambiance is without words. Situated right on the river, the views are breathtaking. We parked in the ample parking out front and went in for supper. When you walk in motel service is to the right and the restaurant is to your left. I can't comment on other times but when we arrived the option was to seat yourself. We sat alongside the river and were greated shortly thereafter by a lovely server. Though I can't recall her name, I cannot send enough accolades to this 30-40 something dark-haired servess. She was amazing, taking care of our every need. She was very knowledgeable about the specials of the day and drinks and I felt as if I need not look at the menu. Specials offered included locally harvested lake trout, penné aux sauce de choix or Roast Duck with a mandarin au jus. Needless to say we both chose the duck. Roasted medium rare to perfection with an incredible au jus, served on fresh mashed with seasonal grilled veggies this was far more then I could finish. My 'Saturday night cream ale' from a microbrewery in Sudbury was delicious. Dessert, prepared daily, from scratch was offered. Options included Strawberry shortcake, Lemon tarte or Crème Brulée. As a result of being stuffed from the main course I didn't endulge! We both finished with coffee. I cannot comment on the cost as. Y chivalrous date got the bill. I suspect for us both including beers it was about 80$.All in all I am looking forward to my return to Pier 17. My only question is how has this gem remained hidden in Blind River!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? "
