"Thankfully it was one of the only places still open after 7pm for dinner. Queue here was understanbly pretty long, had to wait for about 45mins to be seated but food was pretty good and worth the wait. The cucumber pickles were pickled to perfection, not too salty and very juicy. The grilled mackarel in teriyaki, grilled horse mackarel and grilled alfonsino were smoky, tender and oh so tasty. Perfect paired with a mug of cold beer for a cold night in Hakone."

"A small and authentic eatery owned by a friendly elderly couple. Food is simple but delicious we had pork cutlet, fried white fish, tuna sashimi and cold tofu. There is just something special about eating in an unassuming, hole in the wall restaurant in Japan. Definitely recommended for a quick yet satisfying lunch. So reasonably priced as well!"
