"Literally, the BEST Chinese food, from the BEST Chinese Takeaway, I have EVER been to tried. The food is absolutely always 100% freshly made to your order, and any specific requests you have a happily received. The food is of the highest quality, cooked expertly portion sizes are very generous, indeed!! Hand on heart, the ONLY Chinese Takeaway that I will go to. Recommended to veggies, too, due to the high range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. And to top it off, it is very modestly priced."

"The new renter, ben, just recently took over and really went out of his way to make us feel at home, even a kiss that he had just bought for his own bed when we were short. the breakfast was great with many options and again had ben the effort to get in gluten free options for us when I added this to our booking instructions. the rooms are new and have everything they need. with a slightly softer bed (which I think ben plans to fix), this would have been a 5-star rating. I would definitely recommend"

"A little gem of a place with a very warm and friendly welcome and service. A very small working space however they do their best to fit you in with a smile and a ‘ello darling’. Great value for money on food and drinks and cater everyone’s needs and wants from vegan options to sugar free cold hot drinks. Finally this is the best place in the surrounding areas for a good old English breakfast served with a free hot drink with it what more could you want."

"First time here will definitely be going back. Lovely building full of nostalgia. Friendly and helpful staff. Decided on something to eat, and the menu read so well. Can definitely recommend the steak and kidney steam pudding and the southern fried chicken burger. Both superb and just being able to taste the homemade goodness of it all. Marvellous. Also being able to watch the chef work was a bonus, as was him personally delivering my dessert, which was a warm Victoria sponge.. Which again I'd highly recommend.
