"There are a couple sushi places in Newton but this one is the best one so far. The rice isn't mushy at all, unlike some places. The lady who works there is also very kind to my friends and I. Aomori is my go-to place whenever I want sushi afterschool"

"AMAZING SUSHI. A friend recommend this place to me and I thought I'd give it a try. It is a newly opened in Surrey. The food presentation is beautiful and the taste goood. The staff are very polite and cheerful, this is definitely a place to try!"

"This is still my favourite sushi place as they are one of the few places that serve black rice if you want it?Which I definitely prefer over the white rice.The black has a nice nutty flavor.I usually have their number one lunch special which includes 8 pieces of a roll, 3 pieces of lightly battered tempera,rice & a salad with Moms beet dressing which I love & of course miso soup & always a little fruit for dessert.Price around $8.By the way they serve on porcelain plates not those plastic boxes,which I feel are way more hygenic.Its very small & family operated............very nice people & great service!I know my doctor orders take out from there every day,so its healthy,right?"

"I've only ever had take out so this review is for the food only. The Sushi here is very good but a little pricey in my opinion. You can order Sushi from other places near here for a bit less that is just as good if not better. I also wish they had lunch bento boxes like most of their competitors. All that being said, Sushi wara is still a great place to get sushi and I doubt you'll be disappointed with the food itself. I can't say anything about the dine-in experience, but when I went to pick up my order, everyone was super friendly. Overall, I recommend it."

"Teriyaki sauce was a total joke and worst ever I 3xperinced in over 50 years of being a teriyaki sauce liver. Told waitress, she told me I was wrong.tasted like beef broth and soya sauce, no sweet tang at all. First and last time here."

"I've come into Ding Sushi before with my bf, and this time was just like the others, with one difference a divider keeping pickup customers from coming in. A COVID procedure for sure, and appreciated. So we sat where we wanted, in the corner by the window, and were promptly offered a choice of tea or water. I ordered the tea. Standard, pleasant temp, and a slight but subtle flavour. Pretty standard, but one can't complain~ I ordered the vegetable udon, with a yam tempura roll. The rolls came quickly for both of our orders, but for me, the yam tempura roll came first. The yam was sweet, crisp, and perfectly balanced. The tempura was pleasant and seasoned well, and mixed with the wasabi and soy sauce made a pleasant combination. Would recommend! Then onto the udon. The broth was tasty, with flavours of sesame, and lots of veggies! I would have loved some tofu or mushrooms in there but a preference more than a requirement. The veggies were crisp, fresh, and big bites! If you're in the neighbourhood, and in the mood for prompt service, friendly staff, a comfortable atmosphere (though not a large space), and tasty, fresh, hot foods, you'll enjoy coming to Ding Sushi. For aficionados, you may not find all you wish, but for what you get, at the price, it really is a great deal for great food"

"Love this place for a quick sushi bite. my favourites are the alaska roll and the normal salmon avocado rolls. They also serve the sauce on the side on the agedashi tofu which was a nice touch. Nothing fancy about this place but it's good and cheap!"
