"The food was awesome and so was the service. It was fast, friendly and efficient. The place is clean and they have a unique self-serve bar for soups, salads and desserts. We went for lunch and had a decent amount of options to choose from. They did bring us duplicates of an appetizer and forgot two of our dishes but we reordered it on the second menu. The décor is also very nice. Definitely recommend."

"If you want to stay safe during the pandemic this is the safest restaurant to choose. Masks have to be worn any time you leave the table, disposable gloves are provided for the buffet, hand sanitizer in each room, cutlery comes to the table in a sealed plastic bag for each person, tables and chairs are sanitized after each guest. If this isn't enough the Atmosphere, Food, Service, and Hospitality also rate high marks. Thanks to the manager Serena, who makes sure everybody's visit there is an enjoyable one!"
In the morning, you can enjoy a rich brunch at Mandarin North York, freely at your own will, It's worth mentioning that the typical Canadian dishes are well received by the visitors of the establishment. But the undisputed highlight of this restaurant is the delightful Sushi such as Maki and Sashimi, There are also some international menus available on the menu.

"You would figure with all the competition in the neighbourhood, Ginza Sushi would try to excel in customer service. However, our experience last night once again proves that they have no interest in maintaining loyal clientele. This used to be our go to place for so many years and for the third time, the service on October 1st was horrendous. Three of us went to the restaurant, two of us ordered sushi combos and one ordered a Bento box. The sushi platters came out relatively quickly, however after waiting an additional 20 minutes the Bento box still never came. Calling over the manager and owner repeatedly, he said it was in process and did nothing to either expedite the delivery of the Bento box or offer something while the Bento box was being prepared. Never have we had to wait 20 minutes for a Bento box anywhere while the rest of our party ate their food. As we asked for the bill, our server and asked if we wanted anything else. I quickly responded “how about the rest of our food”. She just walked away. We paid the bill and walked out. This is the third time we've had an issue with service at what used to be one of our favourite restaurants for the past 20 years. I can truly say this visit was definitely the last. With all the other options for Sushi in the neighbourhood, I would not recommend going to a place where of the food quality is only ok and the service non-existent."

"Ordered a large pie with mushrooms and it was fantastic. The sauce and cheese was the perfect ratio. Good and fast service will recommend!"

"They deserve 5 stars. We would have given 6 stars, but we could tell they were not happy we came at 9:00pm. We were the last to leave. But they were always very polite! Their table manners and their service was 100% great. We enjoyed every thing we ordered. Squid, Steak, Shrimp and fantastic Sashimi! They had 7 types of ice cream which blew my wife away. They had our favourite flavour which is coconut And to top it off, the price was GREAT! I totally and humbly suggest you try this place if you like AYCE Sushi restaurants. We will be back! Thank you Maple for a great dinner!"

"The sushi from here last night for the first time got a small roll tablet, sushi pizza and an order of tako yaki. the people who worked there were so friendly, and eating was some of the best sushi I ever had. fresh, delicious and huge portions. the sushi pizza is a must try! the prices were also very fair, especially with 20% discount for cash purchases. we will definitely come back!"
