"Nous sommes arrivé avant 19h pour commander des pizzas ( car ils font à emporter). Nous avions rendez vous a 20h pour aller la chercher. Nous sommes donc revenu pour cette heure. Nos pizzas nous ont été donné a 20h40. il leur a fallu 1h40 pour trois pizzas. A leur place j'aurai honte, je n'ai jamais vu ça. dans les autres pizzerias où j'ai mangé, en 20 minutes elles étaient prêtes. Elles avaient bon gout, pas exceptionnelles mais pas mauvaise pour autant. Et évidemment, aucun service client derrière, pas de boisson cadeau ou autre. visiblement il est bien pour manger sur place mais ne commander pas la bas."

"Lets be frank, the food was very good prepared, very tasteful and all the courses looked like a picture. Not cheap but well worth it. The Chef, a very friendly guy, came to inform if everything was up to standard and food wise it was. However, how is it possible that the sheer arrogance of the headwaiter keeps us from coming back here although we have still four nights to stay in this hotel. After being led to our table by the lady at the reception, it took at least 15 minutes before someone to show up at our table. Not with a friendly remark or with the usual question 'would you like a drink ' but immediately the menu was pushed under our noses. Our question for a drink was completely ignored. After having to ask again to a (much more friendly) other waiter we eventually got our much wanted drinks. During the cause of the meal the (head) waiter didn 't once showed any interest on our well being and he didn 't try once to smile or show any other kind of affection. He kept sustaining to inform us about the dishes in French where he knew we didn 't speak this very well. The total arrogance and disrespect dripped of his face. The worst thing is, this wasn 't just a temporary laps of inspiration. The next day we engaged this man a few times. When we greeted him, he just turned away his head and said nothing there where the other waiter and the chef met us with a smile and a friendly word. This evening we went to a very nice restaurant not far from our hotel. The food didn 't deserve a star but it was tasteful enough. But the most important thing was, the waiter (and owner) was very friendly. We chatted both in French and English and had a very pleasant evening. This is how it should be in the restaurant business, making people feel at home and give them a good feeling when they leave. Sorry trois barbus, but your waiter blew the chance to make some more money. Better luck next time (but I doubt there will be a next time)."

"Good locally sourced food, cooked well, served well. Staff went out of their way to help with our poor French! Good atmosphere, small village environment. Altogether a good dining experience."

"Chose this instead of le tilleul which is right next to l’escapade. We ate half of a not so great burger with a sad salad while being attacked by mosquitoes. Staff is friendly, but the place is right next to a busy crossroad and sitting on the terrace you inhale quite a bit of exhaust fumes. We didn‘t enjoy our experience."
