"Stayed at Waddington on 7th March. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. The locals were welcoming! The food was banging! Room was very well maintained with great facilities! Water pressure was brilliant which is always a winner! Would highly recommend."

"By far the best chippy in clitheroe, the fish and the broken sausages are amazing and the portions are more than what they pay. I would also be the sweet chili chicken (inane,) the quality of eating is always consistent and their never let go, the staff is incredibly polite and the service is great, they can say that they take care of the shop and the legacy, especially the lad called jack. castle chippy is a legendary in ribble tal area."

"...to a perfect 16mile bike ride through the idyllic Pendle/ Clitheroe villages. Great fish and chips eaten in lovely late sunshine by the river at Edisford Bridge, 5 mins cycle away gorgeous. Fish and chips is not a cheap tea anymore but this was a good portion which would probably have fed two older appetites)....so good value and especially lovely fish. Excellent and pleasant service too. Highly recommended."
