"Such a cute place! Amazing view with amazing Swiss food. We got the Swiss hot dog with chips and the dumplings- one in broth and one with salad. Incredible. We highly recommend trying the dumplings! Very good customer service as well. The menu is in German, so if you’re like us and don’t speak, use the apple translating app : It’s located in the same building as the cable car that takes you up. If you’re in lauterbrunnen, take the PostAuto 142 bus (picks you up at the road just in front of the train station to Isenfluh. Then, the cable car is around the corner from the bus stop (you can see the cables from the bus stop . There are bathrooms for 1 franc You can take the cable car down or talk to the cable car operator about riding scooters down instead, but you have to pay for those at the bottom before you go up the cable car."

"Mangels Alternativen (alle andern Restaurants befinden sich noch im Winterschlaf) nahmen wir unser Mittagessen, im auf den ersten Blick eher bieder wirkenden Bahnhof Buffet, zu uns. Und wir staunten nicht schlecht. Eine spannende Karte (indische Rösti!) und hervorragendes Essen! Der Fonduetopf mit Gehacktem, Hörnli und Apfelmus war ein kulinarisches Wunder. Für 30.50 Franken können hier bis zu 4 Personen mitessen! Unglaublich, aber wahr!!! Unbedingt hingehen..."

"This is a review for the restaurant of this hotel. Knowing the chef is Japanese, I ordered the udon bowl. Hands down the worst I’ve had in my life and I travel to Japan often. To add insult to injury, expensive. I didn’t give one star due to location of the restaurant."

"Glorious mountain setting! The food and service were outstanding! Beef tenderloin could be cut with a butter knife. Presentation was wonderful. The mushroom 'cappuccino ' was whimsical and delicious. Views from the windows were gorgeous."

"The walk up is a bit spooky but that adds to the charm when suddenly you arrive! The host Tino was super warm and welcoming. We had beers out front as it was such a nice night then went in for our Fondu. We were seated with a lovely family and it created a really fun atmosphere. Tino has good energy and some quick witty replies. I can't imagine this existing in many other places so check it out when you're in town!"

"Our last night in Mürren we walked the town looking for something more authentic local and less touristy. As we looked at the menu outside another couple highly recommended the game dish they had the night before. We had been watching the wild chamois grazing in town and saw it on the menu. I normally am not a big fan of venison but we both got the 3 game dish which was venison and chamois. Amazing! Best meal in Switzerland! The family run restaurant was great, the husband cooks and the wife was so nice and personable, explaining our choices. We were sorry we found it on the last night in town. Though pricey, it was well worth it!"

"We had several times this lunch in the mountain hostel . beautiful location on the back terrace, great view, simple menu, but pizzas are amazing, all homemade and very fresh, with a cold local beer, we would go in spite... come and return, thank you"
